honestly you gotta be patient. u can punish that with an up ball or a regular ball if blocked, i suggest a normal ball cause she can punish your up ball even if it hits. . the over head can be beat by ex up ball

Thank you for the schooling!!! Please give me all your criticisms. I can take them :). I know I am not a terrific Blanka player. I picked him up when I got my stick b/c the shoto characters notation was giving me some trouble and my buddy suggested I try someone else; I have been having fun since. I was totally unaware you could control the ultra, which I am assuming is done the same way as with the super. Your mixups and speed are f**king incredible. It’s impossible to know when your charging, your ultra comes out FAST and hot damn is it difficult to fully block (Any tips?). Also, thanks for punishing the hell out of my Horizontal Ball. It really isn’t that great except if you know you’re going to hit with in a 2-1 or to cross up and space, otherwise; I am beginning to see it just leaves you open to get fuct. What’s up with Rainbow Roll? I noticed we were both using it to attack, but I see it take a lot of shit around here. I feel it has more effectiveness beyond using the EX version to escape the corner. What do you think, when is it good to use?
I want you to know how appreciative I am that you took the time to contact and play me. It is also unbelievably generous of you to keep this thread open to give notes to people on their styles and how to improve them, especially for people like myself (I’ve played on and off since I was a kid but, for instance, was ignorant of the concept of maining a character until I got on SRK a few months back) who want to play and compete well.
Last thing, why does everyone say Boxer owns Blanka? I play them (Boxers) a lot online and I feel I do rather well in that matchup.

sorry, haven’t been checking this thread much, been busy for sbo quals…but since thats done, im back!
wolfeagle: it’s been awhile since we played and i honestly don’t remember how you played! we’ll have to play again. just hit me up. boxer does own blanka…well not so much. the reason why is that blankas moves are easily beaten by rog. you probably havent played a decent rog yet. if you really want to know why this match up is bad, then i suggest you hit up gootecks or mr. ronstoppable on live.

philski, phillies: thanks for the compliment, but like i said, sbo quals was one of my worst performances. i did learn alot from the experience though: don’t run on 3 hr sleep the night before of a major tournament when you know this is going to last for 12+ hrs. man i was barely getting by everyone and i know i can do better. oh well.
supaskites: ggs man. a couple of things…you need more mixups from those successful jump in cross ups. you slide too much and i made sure you paid for it all the time. the best option to do crossup ball is when i have no life…otherwise, its free damage for me. i didnt see any combos from you either, so work on that. good shit on punishing ultra with ex-upball. practice up and we’ll definitely play again.

Moval, thanks for the tips…I’ll definitely work on it for the next time to give you a little more of a challenge. I was wondering, what FADC combo were you using, was it cMK - Ball - FADC - cMK - Ball? You pulled it off more than once and I was really impressed. Also do you have any tips for successfully using electricity during match. I didn’t notice you using it to combo but were using it a lot in the mix up and hitting me almost every time.
