Oh man log trap is an assist?
My new team might just be PW/RR/Doom. I’m getting really excited.
But I want Frank on there too. Dammit teams of 3 isn’t enough anymore with all these awesome characters!!
I still wish his VA was David Hayter. Ah well, this one is nice too.

That log assist is gonna definitely help Iron Fist, and Strange + Rocky combo seems so deadly.
Log trap assist actually looks great for Phoenix Wright since it covers the spot above Maya shield.

I saw the Log Trap assist, but I didn’t actually catch a beam assist. I was thinking his three assists would be Log Trap, Bear Trap (since it OTGs), and Shrapnel Trap.
Let’s not forget, though, that log trap is a wall-bouncing assist that hits very high up in the air. I’ll bet that not only will it be great for defense, it’ll also be amazing for combos because you can either wallbounce or soft knockdown people with it AT JUMP HEIGHT. That’s going to be enough for most characters to re-launch.
I have yet to see the log as an assist. His double fireball cannon assist can be seen in Seth’s Frank West walkthrough.

Seriously, that shit is fucking bananas. My question is does it automatically track to the top of the visible screen? Like if RR is on the ground and his opponent is trying to be lame and fly away, will it still reach them? I hope so.

log trap is used as an assist in the gameplay trailers. Go watch the one where Frank wins.
My mind is blown by how awesome RR is. Voice, moves, theme, presentation… just wow. Everything is so right how the HELL can anyonle dislike this guy?!
But, in his reveal trailer, he did the Log Trap against Akuma, but when he tried to end the combo with OTG Bear Trap, Akuma wasn’t ground bounced for some reason. I hope that’s not due to the hit stun deteriation… RR didn’t even get to use his ground bounce.

Not gonna lie, when I first saw the trailer I thought of Jason Statham mixed with Diglett and Star Fox.
The accent is British/Cockney
Rocket Raccoon is going to have low heath, and possibly lower than Strider.
He has instant overhead aganist a lot characters and he has crazy good mobility to boot.
