Also his lvl 3 looks to work like Dormammus.

He has to ignite it with his laser first.

so after a normal air combo he can set up a flame carpet in case they roll towards him.

In order to set off oil bomb you need to shoot it with his H laser. He has two lasers that we know of, one that fires upwards at an angle and one that fires downwards at the ground. The angled one will hit the bomb in the air and causes an explosion while the low shot will ignite the oil bomb if it’s already been popped, creating a fire pit.

Oil slick seems to hang around the screen for quite a while too. Very interesting move.

I know on the ground, but I can’t see him actually lighting it in the places it hits in the air. Am I just being blind? (which is possible :p)

But Nolan North already voices Deadpool in this game and he would also likely be busy as Penguin in Batman AC (also a cockney voiced character but sounds different), Drake in Uncharted 3, Desmond in AC Revelations Etc…
NOLAN NORTH IS IN EVERY GAME!!!
Edit: ooh, I almost forgot he also voiced the defective turrets in portal two which sound very similar in accent.
Anyway in the end it doesn’t matter if it is or isn’t him in the end because all we need to know is he sounds awesome.

Rocky’s theme kind of reminded me of Nate’s theme lol.

I can’t hear what he says either, but whatever it is “I’LL KILL YOU, YOU…” is the most badass fucking thing I have ever heard in this game, surpassing Ghost Rider’s “Hell is calling, Albert.” Whoever they got to voice Rocket is amazing.

This guy looks good. Will be a pain to hit for some characters like Ghost riders to hit because of size.

I’m gonna try rocking X-23 (Ankle Slice)/Rocket (Log Trap)/Nova (Gravimetric Pulse) for awhile at first. Rocket with a shield to keep lockdown pressure and a low assist for those crazy rocket skate mixups? Yes sir.

I’m undecided as to whether to be hype or terrified. Small, fast, teleporting, burrowing, triple air-dashing rodent with a nice zoning game? Sounds like he has the bases covered, except possible life and damage.

One thing I’m interested in is the projectile durability behavior of the traps, especially the assist version of the log trap.

Basically looks like he can benefit from any meaty projectile or trap assist to help with his already solid zoning.

He’s either an anchor for me or he’s second with Ammy’s Cold Star for an assist. I really just want to throw rocketrocketrocket skate mix-ups. Ammy might want the Log Trap assist though.

One reason Rocket looks strong to me is because he clearly has the ability to use his tools agressively or defensively. He’s got very distinct zoning and rushdown tools. I’m sure he’ll be able to do both just fine, kind of like Strider.
