It’s likely not HSD. If you hit someone with a move that causes a ground bounce and you already used up your ground bounce, the opponent will instantly tech because they’ll go into a soft knockdown state. The thing that I don’t get is that RR used up a wall bounce with the log trap but hadn’t used a ground bounce, yet when he went to do OTG Bear Trap it acted as if he already used up the ground bounce.

It may be similar to Akuma’s Demon Flip xx Dive Kick OTG where if you don’t hit them soon enough, you don’t get a bounce.

Tough to say. X-Factored Rocket could be balls to the wall crazy as anchor, but I’m not liking the idea of Rocket vs. XF3 Ryu, Akuma, Task, Dorm, etc. Anyone who can fullscreen beam him will take him down with one or two random shots in XF3.

I can’t believe the amount of screen coverage this character can lay out. I don’t care what anyone says, it looks Cable-esque to me. his speed is unreal. ppl are not gonna know where he is until they’re getting hit. strong defense and strong offense makes for a very strong all purpose character. lol @ log assist. more dumb assists for phoenix wright. blackhearts underground ‘dash’…runaway? haha doubt it, but you never know. plus his own version of float. is he officially the smallest character in the game now?

It’s not definitive, but rewatching all the videos it looks like every time it ground-bounced he either did the Bear Trap immediately or did 1/10 of a dash. When he did it to Akuma it looked like he did almost a full dash.
I want his log assist to still come out even if him and the point are hit… that would make a awesome gtfo me assist

Well, I know I’m maining Zero in UMvC3, and I’ve been looking for god characters to back him up. Despite his low health, RR looks like he could be a valuable asset. That Log assist covers a ton of space, and I’d like to see what his others are. This guy seems like he could be a total pest to take down, and that’s before you factor in his short height.
