Rocket gets 630k easily midscreen off his BnB without assist, which is average to above average isnā€™t it?

Also I seriously hope you didnā€™t just say the boulder loop is practical :O. That makes me sad. I must practice that thing, is there some secret trick Iā€™m not getting? I once or twice got the 3rd boulder to hit, but that was an absolute fluke and was in training mode. Plus I rarely find my self pressuring people in the corner with Rocket.

I donā€™t thing c.M is bad, the range is actually decent compared to his other normals. I hadnā€™t really thought of a couple of those f.H fake outs he mentioned. I also think the BnBs he showed were rather sub-optimal, but the spring oki is obviously usable.

Yeah. F.H and RocketSkates backwards is pretty dope if it works. Never thought about it.

Yeah, according to the Hyper Guide heā€™s tied for second worst with Akuma and Strider. Then again, he has the second worst amount of health for a reason. A lot of potential that hasnā€™t been tapped into yet, I honestly feel like in a few months weā€™ll see what he can really do. I donā€™t believe for a second heā€™s one of those ā€œjokeā€ characters.

Two questions: What does everyone think of RR as an anchor? And what seems to be his best options for opening up opponents?

For the life of me I canā€™t beat Wesker, because his c.m has three times the range of my normals.

I am under the impression that RR needs an assist for him to get in and cover his attack chances. He seems to fit better in the second slot. He could do well on point too.

Donā€™t do it tbh assists mean you can teleport in safely and put alot of pressure on and hopefull open somebody up

the way ive been opening people up is either via teleport mixup rocket skate cancel f+:h: upforward over the head or straight down low

Yea I try to call a beam assist then crossup teleport. But mostly I just die. >.>

He doesnā€™t have the limbs to set up anything on his own. Heā€™ll just eat Weskerā€™s palms all day long.

as for fighting wesker 1 on 1

tbh he canā€™t hit you , youā€™re to small and far to mobile

errr I dunno man. My raccoon dies like its his goal in life. 1 touch and heā€™s gone :/. He gets smothered very easily and canā€™t teleport once they get in.
And as for Weskerā€¦he gets the job done.

Iā€™ve been practicing up with RR/IM/Sent and found something neat with Sent assist.

If you can get them to block Sent drones, RR can teleport to the opposite side of the opponent, then do boulder trap, dash forward start a combo with low while they are still in block stun from drones to get an unblockable.

Can probably do it with Ammy and Doom missiles I guess.

How the hell do you get around those damn sword users?

Iā€™d guess you can fake out dante and Vergil with rocket skates and make them whiffā€¦

I personally abuse Mad Hopper properties to beat Sword users because that stays out even if you are hit.
