I bet he can pretty much just THC whenever he wants to if he can use Spring Trap for THCs. And that would make other THCs just plain amazing.

Reminds me of all three members of my original team, MODOK trish and ammy.

Traps gameplan and speedy mobility like trish. Trolling ability,versatile mobility,unusual normals and constant transition between zoning and rushdown like modok, and ammys small hitbox,swiss army knife abilities as well as squishiness and relatively low damage

Probably gonna try him out for MODOK unless online play gets a huge revision and lag basically doesn’t exist haha. Is claymore the beartrap assist?

Does boulder trap look like hopscotch to the degree that it triggers if they pass over it? I thought it only worked on the ground.

Of course Log trap would also force them to block and fall into the spring or get hit and fall in, but you’re not getting a mixup there really, more a ‘please press a button!’

Depends on what you’re looking for. I think a lot of folks might prefer gatling gun, if you consider how long it takes and the fact that the last shot tracks the opponent, you could random THC and do a rushdown while RR fires away OR continue a successful combo with a follow up while the tracking shot makes it’s way over OR just do another hyper.

I think RR might be one of the ‘only one THC hyper’ guys.

Spring trap would be all kinds of excellent, but it causes problems.

Altho if he dropped it and it stayed out as part of the THC, that would be rad/evil.

Boulder trap doesn’t work against airborne opponents. You can see Nova airdash over without setting it off in Seth’s GameTrailers breakdown.

I don’t think any of the traps are set off if you go over them like that. I mean, it makes sense, seeing as they’re pressure-sensitive mines/traps.

Also, how long does the oil slick from Oil Bomb stay on the ground? I haven’t seen it go away in any of the videos yet until it’s burned up. Does it disappear when he gets hit?

I think so yeah, I remember vaguely seeing that in one of the vids.

Log trap or yeah Jam session seem perfect for setting up spring trap mixups (hell or oil slick mixups)

Spring trap definitely pops up on opponents in the air, which makes for some interesting OTG followups and you could probably do it right after a successful net trap to start a combo.

oh I just remembered something that occurred to me at work, Rocket’s j.S isn’t only disjointed, the explosion is also substantially bigger than he is.

Got to be one of the best air to air normals in the game.

Spitfire twice is the 2 blue fireballs. Anyone know what “claymore” is? I would assume it should be something that slashes or cleaves.

claymore is as in the sense of the mine.

A “Claymore” is a sword.
But apparently it’s also a bear trap.

Have people really not heard of these?

claymore is supposed to be one of the traps, but idk what of those (boulder don’t, net don’t, i think is the other one)

Claymore is like Chris’ Grenade Toss special move. :l:, :m:, and :h: and the same input will give you three different moves.

We have no idea which button corresponds to each trap that the moment tho’. It’s not like that Giant Bomb first look helped at all.

I’m actually loving the idea of having Chris and Rocky on the same team. Rocky can just use log trap to cover Chris’ weakness and both of them are like zoning BFFs. I’m using Hawkeye with poison arrow with them because you get to lose damage while I set up traps and chip you to death LOL, I can sense the salt already.

What’s better is that Hawkeye’s arrow hit close, so if they think of getting in THEN NOPE.
