Is it possible that thing disappears on hit? RR’s other traps disappear when he’s hit so his springboard hyper might follow the same rule.

Most things like that follow that rule, so I suspect yes, it disappears. On the other hand, hyper… and it DOES last a goddamn long time.

I’m just waiting for the combo video that uses Cyrax Bomb shenanigans.

I found the end of that video to be the most interesting with the springboard hypers. You can do it straight out of a burrow and when blocked it looked like it did A LOT of chip. As a Chris player who loves laying mines down, this excites the shit out of me.

I plan on running a Joe / Ammy / Rocket team every now and then just because.

Who knows, it might even replace my Joe / Ammy / Chris team as my main one.

PWright/RR/Ammy. RR covers PWright from jump-ins. Ammy covers RR’s rocketrocketrocketskate approachs, PWright’s attempts to get in, and cleans up after the other two.

In the new gameplay videos, did anyone notice how Penance Stare’s animation is bugged on Rocky? Rider’s holding nothing, then all of a sudden the raccoon appears.

I wonder if it’s possible to avoid the Boulder Trap after you set it off with a quick teleport or the like, seeing as how it’s a little delayed.

What’s everyone consensus (so far, anyway. We’ll need to see some actual matches to judge) on Raccoon as anchor? I’m getting the feeling that his boosts aren’t going to matter as much in XF. And though Pendulum (fuck, I actually have to call Hsien-Ko’s Senpuu Bu form now on) is going to be his go-to assist, how’s the cannon looking for lockdown and basic spacing?

I want to put Rocky and Firebrand on the same team for maximum tears. Firebrand/Rocky/Ghost Rider maybe.

He also works so well with Strange and Iron Fist so he’s getting on my secondary team. Iron Fist will love log trap and Rocky + Strange = sorry i cant hear you as i set up traps far away from you

I’m thinking of running Firebrand/Rocky/Sentinel mostly because I want to experiment with the Sentinel bombs as opposed to drones and because it’ll be funny seeing those two with a giant robot, but I’m expecting so much hate mail.

Do we have a better video of Rocket’s double fireball assist? The only one I can find of it is on the Frank West breakdown and it’s point blank there.

Yeah I’m not sure why it’s bugged like that. Rocket’s not that much shorter than Joe and Arthur and the stare works just fine on them.

spring hyper and net trap on incoming and maybe a rocket skate mixup looks funny as hell , even more so on large characters

I’m in two minds about his VA, it really wasn’t the greatest source and I’m finding it hard to fit Rocky and Johnson’s accents together. But it probably is something Ellis could do.

We must all be careful when comparing ourselves to Hugh Laurie, lest we lose our own identity as a man of multifarious talents and become nothing more than a tv show character who just won’t go away even when they’ve run out of interesting medical conditions to thwart at the last minute…

It’s pretty damn good. You can definitely tell there’s something off about it, I’ve never heard anyone actually talk like House. But I never would’ve guessed it’s because he was really British if I didn’t already know.

Boulder trap seems to be like hopscotch in reverse, and could probably be treated similarly.

lay down super trap and stand in it, if she does something on the ground teleport to punish or use meter to punish, if she jumps in the air teleport and anti air her as she is falling or lay a super trap underneath her, if she teleports BWOINK then kill her.

Yea if you’re going to rely on trap mixups for incoming characters you’ll have to jump at them and force them to come down on whatever you have below them. Call an assist to keep them in place in case they pushblock then burrow around while they have to block the trap as well. Tons of options.
