Oh ok then don’t know how I missed that
He says something like “Get the flark over here”.
I think.
Y’know I just realized he can OTG with TK Cannon. If you watch his reveal trailer you can see him using it to launch after a ground throw.
Why did they give this character everything?
Because his normal chains are just… so… terrible.
He can’t combo with ground H > S at all it looks like, and his j.M really should have been a command normal or something, it really screws up his air combos.
I would gladly trade away my normal chains for the amount of tools RR has.
New character walkthrough by s-kill.
Shows off what his three assists are gives the name of his bear trap special move (Mr. Flapper).
altho strangely its called claymore on the assist select.
Also he looks to have a downward version of his heavy gun on the ground… that most likely OTG’s too.
Edit: also gun hit-confirm>chaingun… which is good.
“Hey, hoe many OTGs should Raccoon have?”
“Four”
“But some characters only have one and its only a hyper”
“Four”
His Air Strike level 3 hyper is mashable for more damage. I wonder if his Rock and Roll hyper is as well. Also the final shot during Rock and Roll has massive tracking. Really fast too.
Seth also said you can set up to three Spring Traps at a time. Using that in conjunction with assists, Claymores, and Pendulums seems like it’ll be incredibly annoying to deal with.
Judging by the fact that the assist is called Claymore, I’m thinking that his various traps are just like Chris’ where you get a different one depending on the button you press after the motion. :l: being Shrapnel, being Boulder, :h: Net, etc.
Spitfire OTG is weird but very good. Right now I’m just worried about his combo potential. He has some really awkward normals and it doesn’t seem like you can do much with them. At least for now. We should be able to figure out something eventually tho’.
Spring trap also lasts a LONG time if not triggered. At the end there RR sets one, runs away, sets the other, has it miss, wins, and the first one is on screen after the win.
I still tend to think the chaingun will get more common use though.
Which is exactly what Rocket should be.
which one is ground s the down or up laser because he can defo combo both well ive seen might be spacing though
I think he will be good. Looks really fast. Lots of fun things.
He reminds me of MODOK. A lot.
Down is standing, up is crouching I believe.
And… can he? They don’t seem very chainable, but maybe I just missed seeing that.
also, have people seen him ever doing 2 non-forward shots in a row with Spitfire? I don’t think I have.
What ever happened with the day 1 patch? Who was that for? Can someone explain this to me?
The laser that shoots downward is his normal :h: and the laser shot that shoots at an angle upward is his c.:h:.
I’m kind of wondering what the input for his dashing knife attack on the ground.* It’s not his c.:l: because that’s a crouching jab, it’s not his c. because that’s a low donkey kick and both of his :h: attacks are laser shots. I’m guessing it’s a command normal like :f::h: or a special move.
Also what in the hell is the input for Rocket Skates? It can’t be his normal dash because I’ve seen a normal ground dash separate from it. Maybe it’s :s:+:atk: like MODOK’s Body Attack or Wolverine’s Drill Claw.
I’ve also got this feeling his j.:s: is just… really good. It’s a disjointed hitbox with good range and in gameplay footage, it does chip damage on block.
- The dashing knife attack is the move he does after OTG Spitfire in his announcement trailer here.
seth dose it in his first walkthrough so its defo posible
burrowing looks so obnoxious I have no words for it other than “expect ALOT of salt”
He can place those lvl1 hyper springs to zone… I thought you had to hit with them.
This should be fun.
