in that recent video , when he lands two j.m he fails to otg witht hte bear trap
think there might be hitstun problems
There’s something weird with the hitbox on Bear Trap that makes it not OTG properly at certain times. Probably because of how it deploys.
For now I would assume the way to end combos where Bear Trap doesn’t OTG properly is with the Spring Trap hyper.
You know I know this is a bit silly to care about but I hope he says Flarking (or some variation of it). Because as far as I’ve seen he doesn’t.
My theory is that it actually uses your groundbounce, so if the bounce is used, they just roll out.
It could also be like the demonflip or crescent heel OTG’s that don’t work right late in combos for presumably HSD reasons.
I thought demon flip didn’t work if you didn’t do the OTG fast enough after the hard knockdown…

What are our estimates about Rocky’s health? My friend reckons its 700k. He got into nerd mode and I’ll just post his findings here.
I’ve been working under the assumption that he has roughly 800,000 health so 750,000 sounds accurate to me.
That’s not too bad. 750k is basically ‘long relaunch combo + DHC’ = death health, but because of the lack of DHC trick and Rocky’s small hitbox which will make most extended combos drop, I think its a good number.

I kinda assumed that the ground bounce properties of bear trap depends on your spacing. If they get hit with the trap as its going up they get bounced, but if hit on the way down they just take damage and tech out.
erm, I meant does boulder trap hit overhead? someone should test that at the next demo

Boulder Trap definitely looks like an overhead. There’s no way the other guy was pressing a button that many times when it activated.
