sounds good glitch. i usually play xbl since im paying for my account. im a pad player and when i started playing on ps3 yesterday, i was dropping combos and struggling to fadc. i got so cheesed that i went back to xbl and used that pad. i gotta get use to the ps3 controllor again.

Today (Friday) is a GO! I’ll have one xbox and one PS3 hooked up! We’ll be doing it arcade/tourney styles, so best of three sets and winner stays. Most ppl are coming at 5pm so that’s a good time to start, you many arrive early if you like and get some training in if you like. Should have things running right up until 9pm.
yeah, that’s why i was saying arcade/tourney styles…cause tourney you play best of 3…might as well get everyone used to the format. gotta train all the locals we they can start domination on the tourney scene! team heroes world anyone? haha
looks like there is pretty good demand for a friday…i’ll try to continue doing it if people don’t mind paying the $5 and having a bit of a wait between games. I’ll try to see if i can get a 3rd screen up next time but space is limited.

haha…i believe there is a comfort/mental edge…if your only used to playing at home and then come out of your environment it’s gonna take some getting used to for sure. So if you have your own stick that will probably help keep your mind in the game until your used to playing with whatever

Just one question coolasice, ever think of advertising your event on eventhubs.com? They advertise weekly events for local tourneys and events. Its just another tool to help you advertise. If you like, I can submit the info, and they will post it.
its not that its jsut that i kept changing sticks and all of them had a different feel to them. like some of the sticks i had to really press a button or use more force than usual and so on. maybe its just me but i remember dropping a crap load of stuff against noodleman cause some stuff wouldnt come out the way i planned. but then again everyone was using those sticks so maybe im ass lol
ohh yeah, u sent me a msg. and im REALLY bad at landing U2. also its not worth thinking about landing U2 against guile because so much can go wrong when im trying to land it. and its not like guile is gonna jump at me for free
I definitely like U2 over U1 against Guile. You can U2 s.fierce on reaction, as well as other random pokes. It’s also faster than U1 in catching Sonic Booms. More importantly, Guiles game gets shut down up close, he can’t abuse his stupid pokes as much.
U2 is good against Guile, Honda, Gief, Fuerte. Everyone else, it’s ehhh.
You should use tornado throw more, when I was applying pressure I was never afraid of being thrown because you never used it. Same with when you apply pressure I think you should use tornado throw more because once you get your opponent afraid it opens up more mixups. You should also try to incorporate that thing where Abel rolls around on wakeup and your opponent has to guess which side your going to be on to block.
