never really checked that…where do they post? just in the forums?
yeah true. I know our TvC sticks need a few button changes due to excessive use, so i’ll try to get those replaced asap…some of us are probably just used to it
blame the stick, that stick should’ve been a TE 
I didn’t like playing on that stick on my lap since it’s prone to shifting around during play.
I know, I had a lot of accidental jump ins with that stick lol.

who’d u use? and now that i think about it i was very auto pilot when i played and probably didnt mix it up enough. and every character i faced had an upper cut so that rolling thing isnt very safe and mashing stuff could probably get ppl out of it.
ohhh i see. but personally my skills with landing breathless is very bad which probably does not make sense. but i’ll give it a shot against online guiles see how it goes. and u missed hakan and makoto and maybe fei
Yeah, Makoto definitely.
I like U1 over Fei a lot more though. You can combo s.hp from f+mk on Fei whether he’s crouching or standing, so you get a LOT of U1 opportunities that match. You can also roll through chicken wing and U1 that if you predict it. Fei can CW out of breathless on reaction, so it’s not that great in the match.
^ohh i was just saying maybe fei because i read from HAV that if u got fei in a corner and u do a well spaced U2 he cant do anything. also i noticed vids of ppl using U2 for akuma and i find it easier to land than U1
syn13/Steve, here’s an update for your stick… it’s pretty much almost done. I need to go to Home Depot/somewhere to see if I can find the part I want to plug the hole of the extra button. If I can find it, I’ll be done tomorrow and you’ll be a proud owner of a WIRED dual modded stick.
BTW, I left the wireless PCB inside and pretty much used everything else inside… save for the Turbo and Mode buttons, which should be okay. I hope you don’t use Turbo…? O_o;

I think the only time I will use turbo are the for numerous shoot 'em ups on my 360, aside from that, the only fighting games I’m playing at the moment are SSFIV and KOF2002UM(yes it’s been released early but I’m still novice or intermediate It would be awesome if you took Qanba PCB and installed it into the empty Fightpad case, I would have a backup pad at home lol~
Anyone know where I can get label paper/sticker(the ones that peel off) big enough for the a TE stick? Don’t mind the Mongolian Chop Squad Beck background(only thing I had at the moment), it was a project gone wrong…it seems that Qanba decided to print a design on the back of the plexi-glass…tried to sand it off with the highest grade sandpaper I have(1000)…guess not but it worked well on my Macbook…
So… when is the November tourney? I want some blood!!!

Do they offer the sticker paper in that size? I remember my SE stick with the a custom template and fortunately Kinko’s/Fedex Office only had the standard 8.5x11, the brand wasn’t the one everyone recommending using in the TE thread but Xerox brand.
The sizes between both templates are noticeably different:
First one is the Qanba, the one below is Madcatz TE.

They post the SF events for the community on the “News” section. They show all the local and large community events. All you have to do is have an account and send the information. The posting is usually around Thursdays and show the following week events including linlks to the websites, info about cost, location and other stuff about the event you may want to relay to the community

Just one question, Im a pad player, specifically XBOX. Do you have pads available to play or should I just bring my own?
I have never played SSF4 on a stick and would love to get tips tommorow.
There’s an Akuma MC Fightpad on site but I suggest bringing your own 360 pad. There’s also a bunch of sticks available to try out at your leisure.
There’s usually a good mix of pad and stick players there.

I’m still kicking around some dates…at the moment i’m thinking WEEKEND OF NOV 20-21st for a TOURNEY. The Sunday is better for Heroes World Schedule and we can have access to whole room, but Saturday i have another event so we only get like half room…but last tourney we basically ran off only 2-3 systems anyway, so i’ll see
yeah, if you wanna play on xbox pad you’ll have to bring your own. All the pads we have at the shop are toast, the dpads are wrecked and for some reason EVERY one of our charge and play kits has died (the cords don’t seem to charge or even power the pads anymore). Like Omega said he has loaned us a Madcatz fight pad if you wanna try it.
be sure to try out sticks if you come…i think it’s a good skill to learn…you never know when you’ll be on vacation in japan or someplace in asia and you wanna walk into an arcade and jam with the locals!
