^^^ heroes worlds has some sticks for sale on hand, and i believe omega_orochi423 mentioned his store also sells sticks.
noodleman is absolutely correct. Heroes World carries a wide variety of sticks and pads, games, and all things SF. I currently supply them with their gaming product so if there’s a particular stick you’re after just let either myself or coolasice know and we’ll make sure to get it in for you.
Wednesdays are on all November, Friday Night Lights are on this week and hopefully become a weekly occurrence.

I can dual mod your PS3 TE for you. I’ve modded sticks for Heroes and a couple of other people on the forum. Dual mod is going to cost a total of $100. $50 for labour and $50 for parts ($40 for fightpad + $10 for Imp).

yeah, we’ll have sticks on hand, so don’t worry, but if more ppl chime in i’ll haul my ps3 in. We should be good to go right form the morning cause i’m using the light set-ups…but it’s probably good to post up what time you’ll come…i believe Fadi is off the whole day so i can ask him when he’s showing up, as for others post up what time you can come. I’ll be working so i can’t really play too much. I’d say 5-9 is safe…but if someone post that they can show earlier then by all means come on by.
yes! one of our players is an amazing dual modder. It’s Chowwun…he did all the store sticks…and can do yours easily and within a day or so depending on his schedule. If you drop your stick off at the shop he can come pick it up… i think your looking at around 100 bucks to do the mod. Definitely worth it if you want the ability to play on whatever system with your stick.
every wednesday in november is scheduled for casuals 5-9pm. And i’m adding the odd friday to the mix…if demand is there i’ll try to get friday put on the regular schedule, but check here first to see if fridays are running.
yeah, as mentioned we got all kinds of sticks instock, so come check them out and you can get a feel for what’s out there at least. Also if you come casuals we usually have a mix of all types so you can try before you buy.
yeah, the VLX was sick!!! thanks for letting us try it…the flip top is freaking crazy! There is so much room inside the stick! i bet chowwun could mod the shit out of it!
haha, yeah guy’s elbow is a bitch. Here’s the only way i get around it when i play:
Fei Longs crouching MK (it drops his hit box down so much that i can score a nice tag on him, similar to Chun Li’s crouching MP)
Focus Attack (you gotta back dash or something cause it’s usually not fast enough to score the hit)
Jump attack that has ZERO forward momentum (haven’t really tested this too much, but if you have no forward motion at all in your jumping attack i think you can beat it out…so possibly a neutral jump, or a jump away type attack.
i’ve also seen a standing punch of dudleys beat it straight up, not sure what punch, but i know it’s a straight punch, not an uppercut (but then again this was online, so i dunno if it means anything)
I’m actually supposed to help someone dual mod their X360 VLX. It should be interesting. I’ve seen the insides in pictures before… looks like there’s a LOT of space to work with. Haha… goes to show you’re paying premium for a box. =P
I’m gonna start bringing it in on the regular, i can keep my cell phone, wallet, maybe a sandwich or two inside.
Sim’s bs mp, yoga blast, are my best two options. bs fk is tougher b/c he’s so high up. with the chance of the jump turning into a stinky-life-draining-cheap-crappy-air-throw i find it safer to slide under and punish. FADC back with sim might get me caught with a low jab and we all know what that means…
weren’t you guys paying attention to how i was dealing with guy’s elbow?

not even c.lp! dudley’s c.lp isn’t special anyways (frame data wise). Just zone out so it whiffs and you can get a free punish! how many times did fadi get thrown/ex dped/comboed after whiffing the elbow right in my face? and if it’s a far one, he can’t hit you anyways, so why worry? just pay attention and make sure you don’t commit to a risky AA when guy is trying to “mix up” with jump ins and elbows.
i’m usually on sometime after 8 to sometime before midnight. i don’t usually boot up my ps3 unless someone looks for me though (via irc), though i have been known to grind on ranked matches here and there.
