About my stick chowwun, there just left it as a blank button, nothing is connected and there is no label for it.

I’ve never used the fight specific pads, looks weird but useful with the 6 face buttons and only two triggers.

yeah, the madcatz fight pads only have two triggers, if you prefer to have 4 triggers, the Hori fight pads have both 6 face buttons and 4 triggers

I can come downtown to pick up your stick or we can meet up at a TTC station somewhere (Finch?). Might have to charge you a bit more for travelling down (parking + gas -_-"). If it’s at a TTC station, then no.

So all in all, it’s going to be $90 to do the dual mod (plus travelling if incurred, $5, $10 tops)

it’s a format that was developed for large Chess tournaments i believe. but it’s basically pits together players with the same record…so if your in the tournament and you’ve won 2 games and lost 1…you’ll most likely play a player with the same record. So in the end we’ll have an overall ranking, and it will also take into account how good your opponent was (so if you played the winner or other players that did well it will be reflected in the standings). You don’t have that 2nd chance like in double elimination style tourney, but you can loose a game and still do well…but most likey the winner will be the player that goes undefeated. Reason for this format is it gives a nice indication of where everybody stands, and it’s alot faster and easier to organize than the double elimination format with winners and losers brackets. I’ll try the format out this time and if ppl don’t like it, i’ll switch to the more popular double elimination format. It’s the style that we use for all our card and miniature game tourneys here, so i would like to give it a shot at least. hope ppl are willing to give it a go!

Where do the alts come into play?

I’m sure if anyone isn’t already contributing, I’m pretty sure I’m 80% making this mini tourney with a friend(because he’s the enthusiastic one and is competitive but he has bailed on me a couple of times for some past tourneys on Love Getty arcade), he’s driving so I can possibly spot an extra PS3(be careful with it please, it’s a 20GB model with hardware emulation, one of these days I will find Swap Magic 3.6!) and/or 360 Elite.
I would preferably choose to play on a 360(even with a pad) because I think I’m going nuts and actually seeing a slight difference.

Anyway, hope to bel there on the 16th and yes, I might come in last place again like the very first one I attended with SSFIV came out…

I’ve only got 2 of the USB Saturn pads left - one is open for demo so you can try them out.

The 360 HoriPad d-pad is one piece, slightly larger than the PS3 Dual Shock d-pad.

I’ll also supply Heroes with a handful of USB adapters that will allow you to use PS2 or N64 controllers on PS3 and Wii adapters that allow you to use SNES or NES controllers via the gamecube port.

i dont know where u live exactly or where ur starting pt is, but the warden bus (the 68) starts at bloor-danforth stn. so take a bus that intersects with warden and get on the 68B.

I live on albion and kipling, etobicoke area. starting point is kipling stn. so, yeah. im use to getting off at warden stn and taking the 68 to my college, so, i might as well do that. thanks tho. If u have any other ways, please explain
