Heroes World Thread (Toronto/York/Markham) CASUALS EVERY WEDNESDAY

haha, if your a scrub then what does that make me? wannabe-scrub!

damn you guiles!!!

That would make you a scrubby scrub =P.

If the Qanba is common ground, then it doesn’t matter. You can still dual mod your stick (so long as it is common ground, remember).

yeah, scrubby scrub!! shame on any of you that lose to my fei long! hahah

still trying to work out my holiday weekend folks…so far i think the only day is possibly the monday @ 1pm to 4pm for some quick casuals…but i’ll keep you posted, i’ll try to post up by this weekend or so

Have LCD’s too if needed.

Looking forward to it!

sweet! more players!! So far i think i’ll have two screens for each casuals, and i should have 3 screens for the tourney on saturday…but i probably wanna get 4 going if we’re gonna have decent turn out, but i’ll let ya’ll know…i’ll post up the final details about the tourney this weekend and allow a few days for any tips or suggestions to alter it…and then i’ll be locked down after the first casual session

Damn I want to come to this mini tourney but my job and school has been getting in the way. I’ll see if I can switch up my schedule so I can make it because it looks like the turnouts are getting better.

So on wed is a casual and when is the next mini tourney?

Next two Wednesdays are casuals (Oct6,oct13) then the following saturday is mini-tourney (oct16)

any chance anybody own a Hori Real Arcade Pro EX-SE that they can bring in? or someone wanna buy one so i can try it out

wanna check out the seimitsu hardware…one of the shop sticks still needs to get some parts done, wondering if i should have them be seimitsu parts instead of usual sanwa

i got a HRAP 3 with semitsu parts (30mm KN screw-in buttons) and im coming for the oct. 13

that’d be much appreciated! no worries if you can’t haul i though. My stick supplier said he’s gonna try to come out for the mini-tourney and said he’ll bring a bunch of his personal sticks i can try out

yeah, try to come out! or at least stop by just to show support! even if a few ppl drop by and say “hey i’m a SF player too” it lets us know there’s a good community

I’ll try to schedule at lease ONE of these mini tourneys each month…and try to give 2-3 weeks notice and we’ll see what grows!

I’m gonna get any feed back for the next couple days then it’ll be locked down after that. Hope some of you can make it! also if anyone know’s who i can talk to once we’re locked in about getting a nifty sticky post in the main section for the tourney that would be great!

how can I get there by bus?

Hey this is a really cool idea. What time do you start casuals, I have class this week until 7 but I am free next week due to reading week. I want to come to the tournament but it’s on the same day as my girlfriends birthday so I might have to be with her =( LOL. How many people do you normally get to come to your casuals? I can bring a TE stick which I customized.

good question…anything that can get you to Warden Avenue and Highway #7…i’ll ask some of my guys what most common bus routes are as i am not familiar with them

Casuals start at 5pm and go till 9pm. Previous casuals have seen on average of 6-8 people i’d say…but i’ve given alot more notice for these ones so you never know we could get a bigger turn out. Yeah, i’m pretty sure GF’s birthday trumps SF tourney  don’t worry though, i’ll post another one up for a Saturday in november, probably choose a date in the next week or so for it too

TTC: 68B Warden - extra fare if you’re coming from Toronto.
YRT: HWY 7 #1
Viva: Purple - you will have a 5-10min walk to the plaza.

Check the YRT site.

Bring the gf TO the tourney… =)

yeah I take the viva Purple
if you get off at the town centre stop (it’s just before the bus makes a turn)
and just walk east to the next set of lights the plaza is right there
it’s about a 5 minute walk
