Umm… The only non-flight Qcb + S’s I can think of are Iron Fist and Strider. This can be avoided by making the flight air-only, whether it’s only for them or for everyone. I’m not just talking about stuff like that though. They could’ve thought out of the box. Think about it, I’m just thinking of five ideas quickly…
•Upon a connected special, turn invisible for 4 seconds
•Normals can be chained forwards or backwards, so you can do Cr.LHMLHS
•Upon a connected snapback, default to a fly mode for 7 in-game seconds. In this mode, :qcb::s: is unfly, but you automatically fly 2 in-game seconds later
•Pressing :qcb: and either assist results in both assists being called simultaneously, at the cost of 0.25 meter
•Universal 8-way air dash
While some of this is pretty ridiculous, it’s all feasible and could have been done. It took me no more than 5 minutes to think of AND type these, so it’s not that hard. I’m not saying Capcom was lazy, I’m just saying it feels like they held back and went a different route than I anticipated.
Sorry if someone else has said it I only quickly scanned the thread. But for those who were wanting offline H&H versus, there IS a way to do it sort of.
Just use training, if you set everything to normal gameplay values and set dummy to player 2 and obviously pick the team they want for player 2 then you can just pick ability cards at the pause menu for player 1 and dummy (really player 2) and have at it.
I kind of like the Nightcrawler card, even though it’s a fairly common one. I’m sure we all have it, or got it initially.
I just like being able to bamf super quick in my opponent’s face and pop out a SHORYUKEN! Also fun for certain air dashes like Spidey’s that travel far.
This is my theory/method with no hard research behind it.
First cards you receive is relevant to your chances of receiving certain high level cards.
Different cards used yields different drop results.
Certain high level cards exist in all lv1 lv2 lv3 and lv4 stat bonus groups.
Certain cards exist offline only and online only.
Certain cards can be achieved by combining both capcom and marvel stat bonus cards.
My observations are that using the same cards over and over will yield the same drops over and over. Using lv4 stat bonus is not always best and will yield different results to using a lv2 or lv3 stat bonus, making it a mistake to think lv4 is best for getting all the cards. I’ve noticed people who say “I got x card at the start” have problems getting the cards other people got at the start.
I am literally missing [S]7 [/S] [S]5[/S] 3 cards. I’ve obtained all but 1 ( Loki, c rank) offline. The ones I am missing are
[S]Abomination, C rank, Marvel[/S]
[S]Daredevil, B rank, Marvel[/S]
Punisher, C rank, Marvel
Serpent, S rank, Marvel
[S]Uatu the watcher, S rank, Marvel[/S]
Captain Commando, S rank, Capcom
[S]Leon S. kennedy, B rank, Capcom[/S]
The varying degrees of rarity are the biggest hints that…this mode is completely random. I’ve changed my deck configuration numerous times to have different combination of chance increasing cards in them and now I’m constantly getting the same cards OVER AND OVER. I wish someone could just prove to me that there’s a system, some sort of method to obtaining certain cards so I could at least cling to it for some relief. I just want Serpent. Does anyone have it? If so do you remember WHEN you obtained it and where you obtained it from? I’m so over laming out wins against the computer only to get another Blodia, Blade, FFF, Thanos, Mephisto, Lin, e.t.c. Someone help me out. If you have one of the above named cards just tell me if you started with it, you won it from a specific stage, had a specific deck list when you got it, anything will help.
Well, I understand that it isn’t a serious team. I just don’t understand why do you have to feel bad about it (apologize in advance). There’s plenty of ways to counter this deck.
I forget the name of the card, but it boosts attack damage on the ground and when set to primary it gives you super armor but reduces hyper gauge on hit. Perfect for Iron Fist, just use the meter chi.
Anyone else have 9 Blodia cards? I hate that using the rare card charm cards (Mega Man, Missile, Nick Fury) barely ever gets you rare cards, and when they do you already have them :\
Sabertooth or Daken | Luke Cage | Luke Cage mirror match (it’s really just the mirror match that irks me)
Servbot | Fin Fang Foom | Grandmaster
Grandmaster | Fin Fang Foom | Captain Blue or Mandarin
It seems that the only way to beat some people is just to make note of what they play and counterpick their team if you play them again.
