Stupid question, but when you using 3 of the same character on a team, does the character say his or her own name when they do a TAC or DHC? I can imagine Deadpool saying something funny to himself.

Nah you can neither call assists nor TAC/DHC with Multiple Man.
for some reason thor had the best Ai for me, he got a full combo off every hit but the cpu always stopped short with wesker.

nope , you go entirely solo until your character dies and comes back in. its why they only show the one health bar.
Sorry if it’s already been brought up, but what is “Going For Broke”? Does it have any real significance whether you win or lose?
My guess is that means your opponent is doing the double Herald points thing. I’ve noticed that after a match sometimes you’ll get an offer to double or nothing your points.
If you see go for broke that means you should play extra cheap.

I actually thought that’s what the “UP VICTORY” on people’s pre-game license thing was for…
Does that “UP VICTORY” just mean that the person your playing at some point accepted the victory bonus and won?
I wonder what makes the point bonus pop up? I was on a 20 game win streak tonight and didn’t get it once.
Also have you guys noticed where certain cards drop? I’m missing a few rare cards and have no idea how to get them. Namely Myria and Serpent, couple of others I’m not sure what they are. I noticed doing the ghost and goblins bonus level with the rare card drop cards equipped kept getting me Astaroth, so I think there is a method to the madness.
Also if you guys haven’t gotten it yet, when you do get a rare card from using the drop increase cards, it actually tells you it was because of the card, so it seems to give you specific cards when you do it.
Someone just rage quit on me. I’ve also gotten hate mail. When are these people going to learn that this mode exists solely for bullshit wins?
I can’t even imagine getting mad for losing in H&H. It would be like getting mad at losing at rock paper scissors.

Playing H&H reminds me of Legacy in Magic. It gets you so many BS wins so easily that it isn’t even funny.
I actually don’t think I like Heroes and Heralds. I’ll continue to play it, but it’s nothing like what was implied by the trailer. The trailer lead me to believe that it would be giving characters some really cool new abilities, showcasing cards that granted invisibility, super armor, stuns, etc. In reality, however, the vast majority of the cards focus on:
- Vitality
- Hyper Meter
- X Factor
Seriously, I was expecting Hulk to be able to teleport, or Arthur to fly, or crazy over-the-top stuff, and it’s turning out to be basically a mode that makes the three above things more efficient. Call me crazy, but I’d much rather a more creative, open-ended mode than what H&H actually is. Current C cards get outclassed by higher rarity cards, making them nearly useless. I was thinking it was going to be a situation where the lower class cards’ powers aren’t that great, but they’re still unique. For example, X Factor burst is relatively useless when you can just XFC and kill, but at least there aren’t any Level 2 XFC burst cards. At least, I’m not aware of any.
I’m not complaining, as it is free. I’m just disappointed, as it seems Capcom took 10-20 cards, made them creative, showcased them in their trailer, and stuck generic HC/Vitality/XF labels on the rest of them. I’m grateful, just disappointed.
I’m inclined to agree with you. Some builds are really fun, but they’re severely lacking in the ‘broken’ department making them useless if you actually want to win.
And I’m still fucking pissed about no proper offline multiplayer. The first thing my brother said when he saw me setting up training mode was something to the effect of ‘wow that’s gay, let’s just do VS mode.’
not really, some of the cards actually buffs certain characters abillities (ultron:sentinel as a example)
maybe cause capcom can’t do that much of things… why? cause them can’t add anything wich needs a “command” (example: there is no possibility of a “enable flight” card, cause some characters actually needs the qcb+s motion to other things)
i think capcom put all of the shit them can fit into h&h…
