They haven’t shown that X-Factor can break combos, I think it just has a blowback, similar to Dark Phoenix.

On the other hand, if this is a ‘whatever’ mode, it is possible. On the third hand, it sorta crumbles the one move spam idea. And hit stun scaling blah blah blah.

For people talking about projectile invincibility, it looks like it has to be activated during the match, much like the invisibility card does. That seems a lot more reasonable. I really can’t wait to screw around with this - what’s fun about MVC3 is the bananas depth of the system for setting up truly ridiculous shit, and this just amps it up in spades. This is the first thing that’s really got me hyped about Ultimate.
I just want the card that allows me to airblock while dashing.

Well… it seems that most of the characters I wanted are in the game… sort of. I really appreciate the Ryu, Nina, and Lin cameos.
But those poor X fans… not that being a card means you won’t get in, but still…
Lin was a real surprise, though. I never would have expected her to make a cameo. I was like, WTF really?
