I don’t know, seems like Alastor (Or even Rex Majin for a nice Sentinel Rival) could fill a much-needed villain slot for the Capcom side.

Alastor is a lot like Dante in though. I would’ve loved to see him in the game however even or someone like Captain Blue Jr.
Idk, I feel like Capcom has other villains to select from like Dr. Wily; he could have either been a giant robot character to match Marvel’s Sentinel or a summoner type character such as Doronjo from TvC. Except he could summon Robot Masters for attacks. Or maybe a giant robot who uses Robot Master themed attacks (fires Cutman blade projectiles, covers you in a Frostman ice spray, etc).
For some reason I’m blanking on Capcom villains but basically I feel as though there are stronger picks than Alastor, and this is coming from someone who adores the VJ series.

I’ve been saying for a while now that I wanted a second VJ rep. And I wanted either Hulk Davidson or Fire Leo. Also Captain Blue would be ok as well. Too bad I know we’ll never get that.
so anyways i was playing the full retail game and u can combo off of the red hot kick h(the flaming red/orange not the pink one). its in one of the missions also…
and i dont think any of his rhk otg anymore it might just be execution though im playing on a nice hdtv with a game im not familiar with yet so kinda hard to learn combos with very narrow windows of opportunity such as otg’s the ground bounce from a finished air combo is pretty quick

Not saying you lack skill at all but, i think its wayy easier to Tiger knee red hot kick and you can tiger knee them cuz someone from neo empire had posted vids of a joe player doing tk red hot kick.
He didn’t mention Tiger Knee’s though. You may be getting confused with OTGs.
