I know its not safe on block, but it moves faster and dosent bounce off like the b version of red hot kick does. So you might be able to combo out of it. Though, it does look very good and im pretty sure that is not just some new move that sucks balls.

Well now that I know Felicia’s Rolling Buckler assist OTGs, she’s definitely going on my team with Joe. Maybe Trish or Storm could fill 3rd slot.
I know for a fact it doesn’t knock down, [media=youtube]A5JtiWS65wM&#t0m13sfeature=player_embedded[/media] you see him connect it on iron man at about 13 seconds in but it doesn’t knock down. Hopefully the combo failed because of his execution cause it will suck if you can’t combo of it. Is anyone going to the fight club? Maybe you can test the properties of his dive kicks for us, whether or not he can tk them and whether or not he can combo of em.

I tried, oh, how I tried, to combo off of the C-RedHotKick. MAYBE there’s a stricter timing for a crouching L afterwards, but it’s doubtful.
I’m beginning to suspect that if you tack it onto the end of an air-combo, you can do good stuff afterwards.
(Also, I can’t decide between Alastor-Joe and Captain Blue-Joe)
How are his assists looking thus far? Haven’t heard much about them.
Really i though that was supposed to be jet black colors. Though it doesnt matter i will be using the dark hero jet black colors.
Well, it could be both, I suppose (the armour looked a little purple-like on the screen.)
His assists seem pretty average, haven’t tried out Groovy Uppercut though.
Oh well, maybe it will be useful for ending combo’s or OTG’ing. But thanks anyway for trying, sick joe btw. Oh and alastor joe(which i assume is the black one) hands down.

Hey guys so I was watching his announcement trailer again and theres a clip where he knocks wolverine down and he OTG’s him using the pink divekick and combos into his gun super. So im assuming that will be one of the main uses for the kick, plus maybe u can combo off it using an assist, i.e you hit em with the kick, call and assist, land and continue your combo.
His assist are voomarang,jet upper,and shocking pink. srry no otg 4 u!
Im sorry did you actually read my post? I said his dive kick can otg, I never mentioned anything about assists. srry i did but i thought that you meant that joe as an assist come out and otg. srry for that.
Its all good, honest mistake. Hopefully someone will be able to test that out for us and see everything you can get off it. Plus maybe with the right assist he can actually combo off the dive kick on a standing opponent. I would also like to know if its an overhead.
I just returned from the Fight Club LA. V.Joe was on all of my teams today, but was usually saved for last. I didn’t find much new except:
- V.Joe does have his TvC ground strings back (actually pretty useful)
- Mach Speed had noticeably faster startup (was able to beat a Ryu Shinkuu Hadouken at point blank [Ryu super flash animation came first])
