I say it doesn’t affect me because he’s going to be my point character regardless. I love Viewtiful Joe, I used him in Tatsunoko and he’s on my main team in Marvel 3.
my advice is to wait for the game to come out and try everyone out. im think v j j as point with wesker at 2 and sent anchor but i know it probly wont end that way

May be the dog can be your third I hope so .X 23/dog/Joe were the only characters to catch my attention they beter be good together that would be perfect but I’m new to MvC so I can;t make any judgement calls.
the thing i see thats wrong with this is both Joe and x23 have very bad health well not very bad but you get the point so i would say a power character that opens stuff up. Like Tron you can hit with slow and she has a command grab plus with that flame assist i think it could do a world of hurt. I would say ammy if you didnt have x23 but that your choice.
I just have one question for you guys If i was going to play Joe/Trish/? i would play most likely complete rush down but if needed then i could switch. I was thinking Joe(voomarang or Uppercut)/Trish(air trap)/ i wasn’t too sure about the last one but its gonna be someone who has good help and can help Joe and Trish rush down so either Dr.doom or Dormammu though i dont know who would be in sync with the team. I you have any other suggestions on who or another character please let me know.

She Hulk has a low slide kick assist wich can create unblockable situations with Joe’s overhead.
You know what i was just told that by a friend on xbox live im now thinking this out properly. Use Joe/she-hulk/and strom. Joe for the main on point pressure. She hulk also on point because when you hit with slow she hulk has command grabs and can lead to mixups and fear. The i might just use storm for DHC sync and also i have always liked her and looks very viable in this game plus shes really good at rushdown. I also like i posted earlier i think that trish could work too. Ill have to test when the game comes out.
Vjoe(uppercut)/She-hulk(Clothesline)/Trish or storm or ? still undecided with that one
Joe seems like a solid character. Im glad they kept his overhead.

Only thing new in that is his slow super, lol.
He seems like he would pair well with Felicia since she has the meter charge and a low assist.
Does Felicia’s low assist OTG? If so then that it sounds like a powerful combination.
I remember seeing a REAAAALLY beastly Black Joe somebody linked me to over IRC a couple nights ago. Was the CES build, he did like Magic series, launch, Air Joe, land, Air Joe> Six Cannon as well as a lot of other cool stuff, really reaffirms my thoughts of Joe being a force to be reckoned with in MvC3. From what i remember it does otg and so does x-23 and she hulks does. I do see some potential in the otg for him but not too god like. well never mind its FUCKING VIEWTIFUL JOE. He is able to do what the fuck he wants.

The only thing I lament is the loss of horizontal red hot kick. Shit was amazing for mobility, runaway, punish, you name it.
^ That really did make me sad face. It was very good for mobility though i did notice that x23 does have something like that. I do like the zoom in red hot kick. Just wondering does anyone know can you combo off of it?
Agreed, I wonder if the new flaming one will be useful enough to make up for it. Does anyone know what’s special about it? Knock down maybe?
