Well, the Iron Wall Lv.2 gem activates when you get hit by 8 normal attacks. It increases your defense by 20% but it lowers your attack by 10%, which is probably why it was so hard for him to fight back.
On a serious note, mad props to him for surviving the onslaught, and good shit internets for a speedy service of justice as usual.
