When you purchase soda, get something else. Orange juice, apple juice, ice tea etc, sport drink, water is a great choice.
Coffee also has many health benefits
Just quit cold turkey. It’s not like crack or anything.
I think I will do soda like once a week at max though, only when out to eat. I have totally stopped purchasing sodas otherwise (it’s as easy as that honestly).
It’s not black tar fucking heroin.
Just stop drinking it.
Jesus, what a pussy.
Drink water or fresh juice. I know it sounds like an obvious yet stupid idea, but your body is thirsty, it just so happens you have a craving for something else. Easiest way to go about it is to just quench your thirst with something healthy; you don’t get over the psychological craving in an instant, but it’ll sure help eleviate it. It’s just like food, if you’re full you’re full and you don’t feel like eating, no matter how tasy the food might be.
yes! surprising to some, Coffee is perfectly fine. The problem is the shit people put into the coffee
and caffeine isn’t even considered “addictive”. Doesn’t fall into that category
How is this even possible?
How much do you spend per month on Coke?
drink lemonade all day
You know, people who crave sugar all the time is not a good thing. You could get bad diabetes.

Again, for anyone here trying to refrain from soda in an attempt to drop some pounds or be in any kind of better shape, ALL sugared drinks must be forbidden.
Those with any illusions that subing in juice for soda will somehow halt that fat gain, or make up for poor lifestyle habits just because juice is “healthier”, are sadly mistaken.
I only prefer low sugar or half sugar juices myself. regular juice, even with natural sugars, is just too much and ruins the taste imo
but I guess if people are trading soda for juice for just something more natural, it’s all good I suppose.
LOL i could do 15+ cans a day of diet soda EASILY. There have been many instances when i bought a 12-pack late at night and it was gone the next morning.
Either i’m a gluton when it comes to diet soda, or they put something in it to make them sorta addictive.
I do know however, that soda dehydrates you. So perhaps if a person ONLY drinks soda, they’ll always feel thirsty. Thus keep drinking more.
I was mad crazy about diet coke myself, but 12-15 cans in a day? that’s crazy. do you even drink any water at all? (even when I had some soda “addictions”, I always drank hella water)
Nope. I rarely if ever drink plain water.
Closest thing is crystal light type drink mixes. As its mostly water w/ flavoring.
I drink a lot of diet coke too, but I couldn’t afford to drink more than 3 cans worth a day.
those 1 dollar large diet cokes with ice from McD’s were my weakness for a while.
I really think now that its the caffeine/dehydration effect of sodas, causing one to always feel thirsty(if its all they drink), that is a big contributor to the “addiction”.
Since i started drinking crystal light, which has no caffeine, i have not had that problem and their flavors are damn tasty too(love their lemonade).
I would eventually get sick of flavorings. surprised some people don’t really drink plain (tasty) water. Like, I would get sick of cokes and that thirsty feeling after a while…ah well.
