What button are those, happs or seimitsu’s? Beatiful stick, too <Jealousy sets in>
Happ
Can anyone point me in the right direction for some decent artwork for these? As they dont allow copyrighted characters logos (fair enough) Im struggling to find anything I like. Im hoping to get one ordered at the end of the month (come on, Payday!)
Was hoping for something relating to fighting games - one idea I had was to have Kens move list and commands on the stick in some funky style, but Im USELESS with image editing lol
here we go. Hit stun’s stick has happ parts but no screws near the stick.
That is good proof right there, but I would not know why some have screws and and some would not. I imagine it would mess up some customization artwork but since I ordered the non-custom one so my only concern is if the top part of the lower left screw sticks out so much that I could feel it with my wrist.
about the screws
i had this same question and changed my order because of it Ed puts the screws on top for the way he mounts the P360 sticks all others he puts underneath i changed from the P360 to sanwa because i didnt wanna rub against the screws when playing for hours
that’s great news because I’m getting an IL eurostick not a p360 and I definitely don’t want to see screws.
I have a Sanwa JLF with the standard artwook and the screws are on top. It doesn’t bother me either way. So I’m not sure how Ed decides how it’s done.
From what i’ve noticed i think the slim’s don’t have screws but the true one’s do, someone correct me if im wrong
Han on page 43 has a slim though.
I have the true, all sanwa
no screws

its just the 360 as i said before
i contacted Ed about this its only the P360 with screws on top because the springs are so tight and people are so rough on them he doesnt trust bottom mount said he might be able to countersink the holes on top and cover it with the art but it would be super hard to replace a bad or faulty stick later on
I will take your word since it comes straight from Ed.
I just find it ironic that HAN’s stick has screws for a Slim. The P360 is not an option on the slim.
Thanks. Yours is badass too :lovin:
ok, that’s weird since i saw a ryu slim with sanwa stick and it had screws as well.
Oh well, if my stick doesn’t have the screws I won’t worry about it.
I was about to say on the IGN review, there are screws on the Sanwa Slim dual system stick.
You are right, this topic is not worth getting all paranoid about.
OK, lets clear this up shall we :).
I used to put bolts on all the sticks. Now I don’t. With a few exceptions.
- P360 sticks. No matter what I bolt those bastards because I do not trust screws underneath with how hard you have to move them.
- Slim arcade, Happ Stick, Curve-Close, Sanwa buttons. There isn’t enough wood underneath to get a good grip on 2 of the screws.
I might still bolt all Mortal Kombat layouts, I can’t remember now, it’s been a while since I did one.
Hope that helps.
Relief. Good thing I didn’t get curved close or sanwa buttons.
I’ve heard people replace the springs so they are lighter. I have no personal experience with these yet. Would this be a modification you could do on my stick? I’d pay you for it if you thought it would help. Just don’t want it to be too light though, I do like their to be resistance.
#1367. You’re probably working on my stick in the next couple of weeks.
ED_Farias,
thanks bro, i got that stick from you. its an xbox 360 stick with a competion or ultimate switch stick. When i ordered the stick from you, i kindly asked you to have a wire soldered for 5 volts so i could swap in a P360. I opended up the stick and found no such wire.
could you please show me a pic of where that 5 volts is at so i can put my P360 in there?
thank you very much Ed
