Hello, from Arcade-In-A-Box (10% Off Coupon SRK10)

Just to clarify, does this mean that if all those conditions are met, then you WILL bolt it? Or is it true if any single one is present?

For example, this pic is a Slim arcade, Happ Stick, Curve Close, Sanwa… but no bolts.

Actually I think that’s curved wide.

Oops… if that’s the case then my bad.

I think the main important question here is, for those ppl who HAVE the bolts, does it ever get in the way of your hand resting on the wood? Or is it uncomfortable in any way?

I have a joystick on order, and I don’t mind it if it has or does not have the bolts… I just don’t want it to hurt my hands after playing for a while

I’m pretty sure you’d have to satisfy all the requirements to need bolts, that’s why he grouped them under one number, 2. And 1. was 360 stick.

  • I have a Slim Arcade with Sanwa JLF and curved close layout. The screws are on top and I never have had an issue with it. What’s weird is that I just noticed that I rest my pinky on the lower left screw to “calibrate” my hand whenever I take my hand off.

I purchcased two Hori Fighting sticks (one for Xbox 360 and another PS3) so I could practice Soul Calibur IV. One of the sticks gave out. I emailed what had happened to Hori. Hori took two weeks leter, Hori told me to exchange it at the store. That store has a very strict. Return policy.

I’m glad Arcade-in-a-Box is giving us more options when it comes to a good reliable controller. I hope to be buying from you guys real soon.

Can you please post a picture of your slim arcade stick? My brother ordered a stick that’s exactly set up as yours but its a ps3/360 stick. I would like to know what it would look like since the stick will most likely look like yours.

Thanks for sharing that story, I imagine it would be difficult to exercise your warranty with a company that is in a foreign country.

I suppose the dual system stick will be the perfect fit for your needs (I did not want to have a separate stick of each system) and it should not disappoint.

Slim arcade, dual system (360/PS3), curved close, sanwa JLF, but seimitsu buttons which I think have the same diameter as sanwas.

Thanks for the pic. You said you had 2 screws on top but I don’t see them, maybe it’s just due to camera angle of the picture. My brother ordered a dual system(360/ps3), curved close, sanwa JLF but sanwa buttons. So I’m wondering if his will have screws also.

Nah, I’m someone else. I have no screws on top.

I was curious about what the symbol represents on your artwork. I realize you have it on your avatar as well.

Hey Ed,
Any chance we’ll see the order queue updated soon? With SFIV right around the corner, we’re all jonesin to see how close we are to getting one of your sticks.

Howdy all.

Well the move has not got completely as planned. They were suppose to have the carpet in the new place on Friday. With that knowledge we packed up everything and moved it all Saturday. Got to the new place and noticed the carpet was not done so we couldn’t get setup, just basically unloaded. It really sucked because all I could do was sit there and stare at the boxes in the back two rooms until the carpet went it.

The carpet is now in so I am in the progress of getting everything back up and running. We will start making sticks again tomorrow (Thursday).

I have an updated version of the order queue, I just haven’t had the time to get it online since I won’t have internet access until tomorrow.

I pretty frustrated right now because I know a lot of people have been waiting for their sticks for almost 2 months now.

Thanks for the update. I was wondering how the relocation went since there were no updates for the past few days. Be sure to update your new business address in all appropriate areas (i.e. website) and I guess a weekly update to the order queue should suffice.

I know how you feel since I have been though the relocating process before, it did not go smooth as well (no electricity/stuff not transported in a timely manner) and it hurts a business more than anything.

My sticks should be coming sometime today according to fedex’s tracking. Anyone know if someone has to be there to sign for the delivery? I will be asleep for school/work tonight and I could sleep through an atomic bomb.

I would like to know too about the shipping.

If signature is required and if it the shipping costs covers for insurance.

I had to sign for mine.

Depends on your fedex delivery person, but I have to say required signature because of the insurance put on the package.

Ed

So is it 6-8 weeks for everyone who hasn’t received a stick yet or just the people who order right now?
