I’m assuming this guy posts on here, but that doesn’t mean he’s not a dumbass.
hi Ed would shipping to Taiwan cost the same as shipping to Hong Kong? Think you can list more shipping to other countries fees as I’m telling my friends here in Taiwan about your website as majority of the people here just buy HRAP’s and mod them to sanwa parts but I might be the first to show them an awesome made custom from Arcade In A Box once I get enough money to place an order.
sent you an order Ed. i’m excited.
i ordered mine too a few weeks ago, can’t wait to play with that nice stick :lovin:
I just paid for a PS3/360 stick today and I can’t wait.
hello Ed,
I want to get a PS2 slim possibly but was wondering can you do this button layout?
square triangle R1
X O R2
Upon ordering do we get an exact template for artwork of the stick we ordered. For instance I want a slim with wide curved button layout but I want my artwork fit to the layout and the screws used for the joystick. The design I want is simply just needs to be precise.
Hi ED, I ordered and paid for a stick on the 19th of this month and just want to know how long It will most likely take to being shipped (to make sure I’m not out of town)
also when are the best times to contact you?
Yeah, that’s no problem. Just mention it in the special instructions when you check out.
Email me exactly which joystick, model and button layout you want and I can send you back a template.
I am at the shop almost everyday, if I don’t answer just leave me a message. Sometimes I am in the back of the shopping running the loud tool with ear protection on so I can’t hear the phone ring.
Everything is pushing the 4 week mark right now. I’m hoping to speed that up this week. The hybrid sticks are taking longer than I hoped, but we have only done 6 so far, I’m expecting that time for each one will continue to improve. Since I do each order as it comes in, those can put a little bit of a delay in the rest of the queue.
So, would someone who ordered a PS3 stick on, say, August 28th be coming up soon?
Drexl,
Yes, it should be coming very soon.
My constant struggle to get parts from Japan in a timely manner is struggling so I am currently out of a bunch of sanwa stuff waiting for them to arrive. I need to come to the fact that it can take 2+ weeks to get stuff and start ordering a lot sooner.
Hi Ed, I was just wondering when my stick ships if the tracking info is updated on the my account part of your site or if I receive some notification that it has been shipped. Thanks.
Yes, you will receive a tracking number via email.
FYI, all orders are taking about 4 weeks right now. This will probably be consistant until after the holidays. I will post my cutoff date for “Guarenteed by X-Mas” orders soon.
Ed, Did you get my email about changing my PS3 stick? Please let me know.
Thank you
I got my stick yesterday I’m very pleased with it, but i just wanted to make a few points first of all anyone whos going for a headset jack it doesn’t work with the xbox 360 headset that comes with the messenger kit (the one that doesn’t have those plastic bits either side of the connection) if you try to plug any xbox 360 compatible headsets into it they will simply not fit because they are too small i tried moving it around to no avail…However i did happen to have a Plantronics X20 and the halo headset and they both work obviously. The official wireless xbox 360 headset doesn’t work either after you sync it to channel 1 and connect the stick it will sync out and change to channel 2 like it did with older xbox 360 wireless controls
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=LpVuoKn-DOA This link is an example of what it does with the arcade stick
I know the arcade stick isn’t wireless, but that video is just to demonstrate what the headset does. Not a big deal for me as i have my older headsets that work just fine, but i just wanted to point this out to other buyers. Obviously the ones with the plastic bit on the front don’t work…hope that helps somebody
EDIT: Something i forgot to mention I could get the wireless headset to work when i plugged the arcade stick into a XCM XFPS 3.0 Sniper Plus
damn, good to know
thanks for the heads up knight
thats not good to hear, cause i bought an wireless headset
Same here, but ah well if you really really want to use a headset the only other option is a XCM XFPS which cost me 50 not really the cheapest way around the problem because any of the older headsets would be nice and cheap by now.
The Rock Band guitars had a small extension cable so that those with the 360 wired headset could hook it up to the guitars. If you can find that cable, you should be able to use the wired 360 headset with Ed’s joysticks.
I got my stick today and absolutely love it. Thanks Ed!
