Ah i wasn’t aware i never brought Rock band, but it doesn’t matter as long as i can chat with some form of headset that is comfortable i don’t mind i obviously can’t mute it with this headset but if i want to be silent i can just pull the headset out 
If you go to personal settings with the guide button, I’m pretty sure there is a mute mic option there.

At least from the pictures on the site, the rightmost buttons are L1 and R1, not R1 and R2.
I do R1 and R2 now. I used to follow the SF Anniversary pad layout which was L1 R1, but I’ve changed it recently.
Also, anyone that is waiting on their stick please note that I have been having a rough time getting sanwa sticks in. That’s about to change, so I have about 30 on order and should have them early next week which means orders will start going out a bit quicker than now.
I tested this and asked if my friend could hear me and he could regardless of the fact that i had muted myself on the guide.
Something else i forgot to mention regarding the shipping of the arcade stick the tracking works well up until the point it says that it has left customs (Well this is the case in the UK anyway) it will tell you it attempted to delivery your parcel but what it actually means is they have passed it over to parcel force (at this point go put your tracking number from USPS into the parcel force website and it will give you another tracking number) and thanks to Ed stating the parcel was a gift there was no import duty of any kind only a VAT payment of 22 (8 of which is paid to parcelforce for them to deliver it so VAT worked out at 14 despite it spending 6 days at customs) I have heard instances where sometimes its passed over to an agent (anyone driving a van) or royal mail but it does depend on the size and weight etc.
What parcel force does when they get your parcel is hold it to await your payment now you have a choice you can wait for your letter, which means it will take an extra day to get to you or you can just ring them up and pay it as soon as it arives at the depot. You could go collect it in person aswell which would be even faster obviously. If you don’t pay it within 20 days (i think its 20 correct me if im wrong) they will send the parcel back to America
Wish i mentioned it in the other post, but i didn’t have that on my mind.
After ordering a regular xbox headset and figuring out it takes a bit of force to get the headset in the jack, I tried the xbox 360 headset without the plastic piece and was able to get it in and working.
I got my stick today (PS3, black theme with Sanwa JLF/Seimitsu buttons) and I think it’s great! Now I can finally play Soul Calibur IV, which I’ve had for weeks but didn’t want to play until I got the stick.
Oh BTW, it works fine with Vista 64 too, in case anyone else had any doubts.

Does the newer xbox headset work on these, the headsets that do not have the controls at the jack but rather on the cord itself?

quick question, i’m getting a True arcade box with a competition stick. do you use a router for the stick base?
I hope not for the competition and P360 because routing this area makes these sticks “ride high” I know for the jap style sticks you use a router, which is ok

got my stick on wednesday, and its a pretty good stick. btw my stick works with the wireless headset without problems.
I’m on week 5 going into week 6 waiting for my stick. Your pretty good and informative over the phone. But if I didn’t call you I would have no information on whats going on with my stick. I also sent you an email on thursday with no reply yet.
So hopefully you can understand why i might be a little bit agitated after paying $300 for the PS3/360 stick.
