Damn Ed, after reading your stuff, I just realized that Dual PCB would be great for when SF4 and STHD remix come out. Just like how the VF5 guys are doing the Dual PCB VSHG for the multiple versions. Hm, then I wouldn’t have to worry about going to/bringing my stick to tourneys regardless of the version they use, or check up on the system or get restricted. Damn thats a great idea. Ed, you thinking about selling soldered PCB"s and these Dual PCB’s sets already soldered by themselves? I’d totally take them off your hands. Not that I mind your sticks, I think they’re top of the line work, but I already have a case that I’m planning to buy with parts. But damn man, I’d pick up one of your sticks in a heartbeat if I could or if I had a 360. Chrome T-molding looks SEXY!
did they release a model for sf4 akuma? i like that you included the tian symbol on his back. i think dhalsim shouldve been blowin some flame.
The artwork collection is vastly growing I need to rework the website pretty quick. I wil be removing the artwork from the product page, but providing a link to a seperate page that will show all the artwork.
mdsfx is pumping out stuff quicker than I can keep up. I will have many more SFIV themed stuff coming up over the next few months too. I’ll probably start phasing out some of the artwork that isn’t selling at all as well.
As for the dual PCB stuff, it’s just a matter of time when I can do it. I already have an order for a dual 360-ps2 stick. That should be easy enough, and if they make good adapter to go from PS2 to just about anything, I’m not sure I need to make a true PS3 version.
What do you all think? I know, true PS3 right? hehe.
As for selling PCBs, I’m not sure yet. I’m using them up as fast I can solder them. Though I can 1 about every 15 minutes or so, from cracking the case, testing and then hot glueing. It’s all a matter of time. I would be selling kits and blank boxes by now, but I’m just eating up all of my supply of both a little faster than I imagined.
Well the problem would be then to get Converters and having two different inputs sticking out of the Stick. I like the way that the VF guys did it.

They put the PCB’s together, and used a switch to select between which pcb’s to use, while sharing a single USB cord. Though they’re using VSHG’s, while the SixAxis is wireless so… I don’t know what to do there.
Edit: They Also use common ground PCB’s, as opposed to the noncommon official pads.
Well all the 360 pads I get are common ground, so that’s not a big deal. I’ll do plenty of research when I am ready to tackle it :).

I realized that this morning! I may remove the “IV” logo from Akuma’s design until we know for sure. Does he even fit into the timeline for SFIV?? Regardless, I had to do one for him. He’s too evil to ignore.
I can always make another Dhalsim down the line. I had just used fire on too many other characters and wanted something different. The skulls around his neck were always a big part of his personality, so I thought it might look interesting.

I bet if you made the characters true black and the background a dark gray (just a subtle difference) it would look pretty sharp. That with some red buttons would be awesome.
Is that done in illustrator? That’s what I primarily use. That way I can have everything on layers in case someone wants to change the color of the background, outlines, texture, etc.

mdsfx: Funny you should suggest that. I did dabble with a grey background and black characters and the template I used I made the buttons all red as well. I’ll have to redo them because I didn’t save that color scheme but I’ll post a pic up soon. Did these in photoshop by the way.

For Zangief the winning pose, the flexing muscle one. and for Blanka i think the jumping low kick would be good, thats blanka’s lethal weapon
