Yeah no problem, just wanted to make sure you got it. Quick question for you, is it possible for you to make your cases shorter? By like half an inch?
I could remove the bottom 1/2 inch MDF, and just use some mansonite that would actually fit inside the bottom. It would 1. Remove the t-molding from the bottom and 2. Cut down the weight a bit, making the bottom not as solid.
Is that ok with you?

Yeah well, I can’t just hand out sticks to people to test out :). I figured getting one to backbone for people to test out would be the best way :).

The “options” text at the top will be gone in the final version. There will also be a Curved layout version. It’s still a work in progress, and looks kind of odd without a joystick or buttons.

Nah, it actually looks good. Not as much Old School charm as the Mas layout but it still looks ok. The best layouts are “Darkness” and “Warrior of the Sun” though.
There is no tougher croud, no group more critical than SRK :wow:
Especially coming from BYOAC, it’s a pretty harsh contrast.
I am really digging “warrior of the sun.” I may put it on my stick that I will probably order when SSF2T: HD Remix comes out even though I have the rights to put an image of Ogami Itto from Lone Wolf and Cub on an arcade stick for my personal non-commercial use (I emailed Darkhorse comics few months ago and they said they would not mind if I used an image from one of the comics.) We SRKers drink way more Haterade than the BYOAC crowd.

Agree on the “Darkness”. Ordered one last friday. I’ll post a pic once I get it. Let me say everything you’ve read about Eds customer service and prompt reply are true. I expect the quality to be just as good. Thanks again, Ed!

I like the “Flaming Uppercut” one. If the artist could put another guy on the right doing a blue flaming uppercut too that would be cool. For example, a dark haired guy in a white gi with a red headband…

I love the customization options you offer. Some suggestions though:
The button layout on the curved layout seems too spaced out as somebody pointed out earlier.
And the option buttons just seem too close to the stick. Perhaps put them in the top-right corner but high enough so that it’s far away from the buttons. Alternatively you could have an option to have them on the side of the base or something.
I think I will stick with buying an official dedicated cabinet, thank you.
The images show the holes, and not the button themselves. Here is a picture of one stick (a little dusty at the moment) with sanwa buttons and the curved layout. Still look too spaced?

Yeah it does. Probably because I’m comparing it to my DC sticks which is what I’m used to using but even at my local arcades the buttons are almost touching.
I still think the options buttons should be moved more to the right. If I want to do a taunt or a fake-fireball putting one hand on top of the other would feel a little awkward.
Not bashing your sticks you understand? I really like them. Just want them to be a close to perfect as possible.
