Hearthstone - That other, other, other Blizzard game

I hate Shamans. My only losses yesterday came from Shaman decks. I almost gave up on my Paladin deck too

I agree in regards to the control hunter vs. miracle druid matchup. I didn’t have great luck in regards to drawing timely removal or weapons to stave off the big bodies/force multiple minions to be played, so I just bled to death over a series of turns. Same thing happened when I played shaman against miracle hunter.

That said, I still want to see how the matchup and decks mature when epics and legendaries are played.

I’m seeing a lot of Wurlocs lately. Thankfully, Hunter shits all over that build.

EDIT: Haha, I thought I was being clever by calling it ā€œwurloc,ā€ but it appears that word is already in use by the community.

Looking at that match again, I could’ve ended it with Argent Commander and prevent enduring that nonsense for a round.

I’ve always seen it as warloc, but yeah, already done.

What the hell, I tried to get today’s quest and fought 8 Warlocks in a row. the hell is going on today?

So, anyone else try to play a Hunter-based secret deck? It’s quite interesting, although rather susceptible to rush, if draws are bad. Here’s my first try at the decklist:

Do you get much value out of your Hyenas, it’s easy for most classes to play around snake trap when you don’t have any taunts.

edit: Just got my 5/3 Assassins Blade wrecked by a Harrison Jones in arena after forcing a Ooze the turn before.

Good point there - I’ve gotten too accustomed to people being scared and playing around Explosive Trap by trying to trade down, so fitting in some taunt providers would do the deck some good. I went ahead and took out 2x Snipe (since they are the biggest underperformers) and added in 2x Defender of Argus.

Of course, this deck could just be a dog and I’m wasting my time, but it’s a good way to kill a work shift.

I am playing a version of that one. It’s pretty good if they don’t kill your weapon cause you’re basically dealing 5 damage every turn while annoying the shit out of your opponent cause they don’t want your secrets going off by playing creatures, attacking, etc. I even had one set up for the tourney but didn’t get a chance to use it that much

Apparently misdirection can cause minions to attack a hero’s weapon without the weapon losing durability once they trade. The thought of a totem turning around and running themselves with Thrall’s axe is hilarious.

I’m trying to think of how I could have a worse hand for this situation, and I got nothing.

I wished you used that whirlwinds to see how much they got buffed lol

When is the next tournament gonna be? I wanna play I wanna play!

Pretty sure I would have ended up with a 9/2 frothing berserker, 5/1 raging worgen w/windfury, and a 13/4 gurubashi berserker. and no cards.

So I had several 4/2, 4/1 minions vs a mage behind a healthy druid bear vs a sole Sylvanas.

The turn before I used faceless on Sylvanas.

Mage uses Tinkmaster on my Sylvanas -> turns into a 1/1 squirrel. Mage follows it up with fireballing her own Sylvanas and attacking my bear leaving him with 1 health and killing Sylvanas.

She dies and steals the squirrel.

More silliness brought to you by priest mirrors

I’ll start the work on doing another tournament after I get back from Ocean City this weekend.

God I hate hunter matchups…there isn’t anything I can do but hope to get a little lucky with their draws. Its always bow–>attack with bow—>play secret (3 damage)–>attack into secret because its early game and I can’t NOT attack and win (2 damage)—>he gets an armor back—>attacks with bow—>plays secret—>hunter ability (7 damage)…and on and on and on. MY GOD ITS ANNOYING. Then you add the fact that he gets a few 3-5 damage spells…

I can’t completely warp my deck for this single matchup either…its just a shitty one

I might have to add one life gain spell…

This guy helps a shitload vs rush. The 3 heal does make a difference and 3/3 as a minion is great. Being able to heal a minion for 3 is a nice option too if you got a damaged taunt up.

Shieldbearer is starting to see some serious play these days for some reason.
