meh I paid $100 lol. Pre-ordered packs awhile back and kinda knew i’d buy more later. When I only had 1 leg out of my initial 50 packs, i kinda felt angrily obligated to grab more. Not happy with the RNG lately on those packs, so fuck buying more.
But I got the legs I wanted, and epics too. Few gaps to fill in, but nothing too bad.
Nothing different than when I would buy a box of packs whenever a new M:TG set came out.
Yeah I’m not opposed to spending money, just pointing out you can mass by packs without cash.

Still contemplating if I should make my deck un-BGH-able by cutting Boom and adding a 6-drop (probably Thaurissan even though he’s been underwhelming as hell for me in this deck), since that’s actually the only BGH-target in the deck. Otherwise this is roughly what I intend to play until the meta sorts itself out.
I think being anti-BGH’d isn’t as important right now. More people will be trying to figure out new decks rather than try to tech against others. I can see BGH sitting on the sideline for a while.
I started playing after you guys, so no option to build up gold. I’m sorta caught up now, and have most of what I need except a few epics from classic set
