Indeed Arena is a mixed of skill and really random ass luck.
Once I need more cards Iāll get back into arena. The problem is that even though arena is the most cost effective way to get cards (for me), it is not time effective. Right now Iām just saving gold and waiting.
How do you guys normally juggle your quests? I try to keep all 60 or 100 gold ones, and I always redo the 40s. Personally, if I have two 40s active, I always prioritise the generic one to switch to another first: stuff like deal 100 damage or whatever, as that one can be done no matter how I play. Whereas if itās 3 wins for Mage/Shaman, then I just donāt have to do it to get another chance to reroll.
Itās helping me build up gold slowly and steadily. Normally I try to have at least 300 gold before trying a hand at Arena.
I always reroll 40g quests. I also limit my arena runs to allow myself to build up some gold. After I blew all my gold with gvg, I set my minimum at 300 just like you, but then the next week 400g and continued to up that amount. It helped that my average arena run is just under 6 wins post gvg.
Iām up to about 2300 doing that, but I also stopped getting packs/arena entirely at about 1500g. I donāt need any cards currently for the decks I play⦠So that helps.
Personally I like just doing good Aggro decks for cards. Win or lose. The game is fast.Less time =money.
I reroll 40ās and donāt do them intentionally, but if they happen to get done in the process of another quest Iām not that upset about it. sometimes with playing arena a quest will just end up getting done based on me not really having options.
Had two 12 arenas this weekend, 12-2 and 12-1. The 12-1 deck I played a bunch of bad opponents though and i should have lost 2 games that i won. Oh well.
I play on 2 accounts so I just let the dailies stack up to 3 and reroll them so that they all line up and I can get rid of them in one go.
I sent it a few friends requests. Name is areeyeseakay#1362
As much as I play I donāt know why it just occurred to me today to check and see if there was a hearthstone thread here. Anyway my name is CaJaWa#1970 if anyone wants to play.
Are there any advantages to two accounts or do you just enjoy doing it like that? Iāve only got the one. Not sure what another is good for, besides fun.
Oh wow⦠Earth elementals incomingā¦
The warrior card again seems too situational. Good for the otk warrior I guess?
lava shock seems godlike for the warlock (or is it shaman? idk)
Shaman, because of the overloaded mana crystals feature
Shaman, because of the overloaded mana crystals feature
for some reason i canāt keep shaman and warlock straight, which one summons the totems?
Shaman lol
clarification from twitter:
The overload for your current turn, and your following turn, are all cleared. So you could overload one turn, overload the next turn, and clear both overloads with the card in a sort of combo mechanic
Oh godā¦the potentialā¦THE POTENTIAL
Lava shock may be the most exciting card revealed so far, it can completely change how the shaman plays. Opens up so many thingsā¦
