I was actually okay with that, since those imps ended up doing nothing for the dude the whole game. Might as well have started the game 2 cards down.
Iâve had this weird thing going on where I win the first 2-3 games and then loose out. I donât get itâŚ
You face decks with the same number of wins as you. So when youâre 0-0, you face other people with 0 wins. That means their decks are either bad, or just new. So the first game is a crapshoot. As you win (3-0, 4-0, etc) youâre facing other decks who are able to get that many wins, so theyâre better decks. Getting 2-3 wins is infinitely easier than 6 or 9 wins. When youâre at 11 wins, youâre facing OTHER 11 win decks, so you know shit is about to get real.
So itâs just youâre hitting better decks once you get a few wins under your belt, thatâs normal
Yeah arena is just so random. You canât let it get to you.
You HAVE to play for fun and not care at all about winning, or else Hearthstone will be your downfall.
By which I mean I went 3-0 and then lost the next three to insane shaman decks. Overload OP.
Like my paladin deck was fucking balls, and itâs complete shit that battlecry doesnât work with return to play secret, but really? Back to back to back overload insanity that I just couldnât deal with? It felt like every game they had the perfect draw to crush.
Only cool thing I did was freeball a repentance on a giant. Guy conceded immediately.
So I hopped onto casual to try out rogue (I had previously avoided the class), the guy has that damn 4/1 dragon out buffed up to a 4/10, he ate a bunch of my guys but no big deal, cairne bloodhoof token is op. So I play mad bomber, it deals one to me, one to his dragon and one to the bloodhoof.
The guy immediately emotes thank you (because now the 4/4 bloodhoof can only hit his dragon once)
So I did what any rogue player would do. I beat his face with the token and comboâd out headcrack and eviscerate for the win. Yeah Iâll bet the light will destroy me chump
Arena never makes sense for me.
Iâd play with decks that have the most insanely unbalanced mana curve my last deck had a billion 2 mana minions because they wonât stop giving me 2 mana cards or no synergy at all but iâll end up reaching 7-3, but then I play a deck with decent/great synergy or bullshit multiple cards and I go 1-3

still fun though.
I canât seem to get past rank 19. Iâm facing opponents with legendaries/epics. This one guy had two summoning portals and brought out all these high-level minions. :looney:
I feel you, went 1-3 as Rogue with Black knight, Sylvanas, Leeroy and alright curve. Not sure what the fuck happened and this was right after I went 12-2 and 10-3 with pretty shitty priest decks.
New druid deck

Probably my most solid deck iâve played so far. Mark of the wild/nature + amani berserker/worgen is fucking BRUTAL early game 7 attack berserker when enraged with mark of the wild + taunt, worgen having like 6 attack with windfury as early as turn 3 + taunt. God. DAMN.
Faerie dragon is making me consider dropping defias on my rogue deck because heâs pretty damn amazing at turn 2/coined + removal support backing him up early game, bloodmage/azure drake and those spells, especially swipe is hilarious, keeper of the grove can solo priests by himself, Starfall says fuck your totems, Claw is god like, etcâŚ
This deck feels extremely well balanced. A bit less late game orientated than other druid decks I assume but this early game feels as strong as its late game.
Furthermore this deck has A LOT of useful card draw options. Wrath either being 3 direct damage/1 damage + card draw unbuffed, Azure drakes/thalnos giving spell power and card draw, and ancient of lore giving the option of either healing something for 5 or drawing 2 cards on top of dropping a 5/5 minion. Yeeahhhhh.
Best thing is that druid as a class can only get stronger as I eventually get more legendaries. also because this deck is even more hilarious to play against aggro locks than anything iâve played yet
Whens Tinkmaster.
Just experienced the Lightwell card. Holy crap.
Get a couple silences in your deck and youâll laugh maniacally when you see priests
edit
Ran into another druid on ranked. I went first. My cards dont even matter.
His first turn came around. He used Innervate, into coinâŚ
I was kinda shitting my pants at this point in anticipation. Turn 1 yeti? Turn 1 senjin? Turn 1 double dragon aka 2x faerie dragon?
intoâŚ
Just pulled a lorewalker cho, should make for some fun decks lol
you might wanna consider dropping amani berserker for ancient watcher. You can use mark of the wild for a cheap 6/7 taunt, or you can keeper of the grove silence it to get a 4/5 attacker. Itâs more defensive than offensive, admittedly, but you have the worgen for offense.
Bad part is it can be pretty unreliable if you dont get the combo. Thats why you need 3 viable ways (mark of the wild, keeper silence, defender of argus/sunfury protector) to get that taunt up. It can be pretty powerful though. Not as fun as big attack enrage minions : )
I feel like if you wanna play worgen and berserker, youâre better off with warrior or mage as your class
I just had the strangest Warrior draft of all time.
No weapons.
I repeat: NO WEAPONS.
Iâd definitely rather hold on to my silence/2 damage snipe drop lol. Too valuable.
Also this happened rarely when I had board control with a lone worgen on the field but -> Wrath + 1 damage + draw card on worgen was a cute gimmick.
I can scrap the marks and the enrage minions once I get solid legendaries/epic neutrals but theyâll do for now.
Youâve got stones to go warrior draft with how shafted warriors got with dat patch
Can a hero attack their own minions?
EDIT: They canât. I tried.
I donât know what this guy is doing. He seems to be deliberately waiting for his turn to run out of time. Is he trying to get me to quit, because I wonât.
EDIT: I want to add that there isnât much incentive to play ranked matches currently.
I want to play a warrior and I want you guys to help me do it.
Thats what you see if your opponent disconnects, actually. Unless heâs actually making moves and then waiting. A lot of people do that to troll. A lot of people play this game and alt tab out between turns, so they let the timer run when theyâre done to buy more time to browse whatever they were browsing
He was making moves, but slowly. Sometimes when time is running out, he has a card hovering in the field but the card never gets played. Iâm pretty sure he was trolling, trying to get free gold from impatient players.
