Took out a Farseer and a Gnomish for two Violet Teachers and damn they’re good. Not sure why I disregarded them in the first place, maybe trauma post-UTH nerf.
Also if you play double conceal you should consider having one Questing or Worgen over Farseer, they end up easier to play that way.
Violet Teacher is love.
Violet Teacher is life.
Yay, weekend. Let’s start this saturday morning with a lovely arena run.

Woohoohoo, what a beginning, that will be a good one.

I— it’s ok, I didn’t want to play arena that badly anyway.

Oh, so 2x Doomhammer is the ‘new’ Shaman meta?

Stop, hammer time!
So what exactly is the core needed for Handlock? I have 3/4 of the giants I need, and I think I have the twilight drakes, what else really is at the core?
I have a shitty control warrior without the legendaries, and its fun to play
Alexstraza, jaraxxus if you want. I don’t have LORD JARAXXUS but I’m doing pretty well.
Dont have either. Im waiting until after blizzcon to decide to dust everything, but I need to decide which legs I’d want to craft. Probably Rag, but Sylvanas ranks right up there too
Sylvanas is a better card to craft than Ragnaros IMO. When they changed leeroy I dusted it and crafted Sylvanas. Still don’t have Ragnaros.
Sylvanas is super good in Handlock. Sylvanas into Shadowflame or Power Overwhelming (or even both) has the potential to get massive board swings.
Sylvanas and Jaraxxus. Get Alexstraza instead of Jaraxxus only if you are planning on P2W warrior as well down the road, otherwise he’s overall better than Alex.
I know it’s a good card but I just can’t bring myself to craft a Thalnos Bloodmage lol
Crafted geddon tonight. I now have a full control warrior minus Alex. Unfortunately, I played 3 games with the deck where geddon would have swung the board, but I never saw him.
So I got my first one of these in my last pack. I threw it in my mage deck which is mostly spells, however it seems it would be best used with a class like shaman (bloodlust) or druid (savage roar). Essentially buffing the 1/1s (ideally with cards that do it to all at once weather spells or minions like raid leader and stormwind champion) so they can have a large impact seems the way to get the most use of it. Anyways thoughts on this card?
I would have thought Alex was the most important legendary for control warrior?
priest deck looking solid, reached rank 4 but now is really hard to level up
Wanna know an easy way to rank up?
Step 1 - build an anti zoo/hunter deck
Step 2 - profit
I would have definitely crafted Alex before Geddon
Yeah for sure, good card for atleast 5 more classes where as Baron only really shines with Priest or Warrior.
Well I’m using this deck, and yes experimenting with hogger: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/114326-1-legend-sjow-hogger-warrior
My main issue has been the shaman match up, which geddon should help alot with.
I REALLY want to main control warrior for the ladder, and I thought geddon made sense. I was between Alex, geddon, and alkir (last card I need for shaman deck). My complete decks are control/DR pally, control priest, and hunter. I’m no where near another deck that uses Alex outside of warrior, and a lot of people are subbing her out for ysera these days.
Alex will probably be my next craft.
With that deck, I think sjow just took a card out for hogger and made legend like that, I think hogger was mostly for fun. That being said, baron and hogger have bad synergy, so that seems like bad times to me lol.
I am enjoying control warrior style, its just hard because its the most leg dependant deck
He took out cairne for hogger, which I also have. It’s debatable, but hogger can actually be better in the shaman and hunter matchups, since cairne just gets ignored in them. Either way I have both variations of that deck.
Maybe I’m just biased againt hogger, I owned him and tried him in lots of decks, but he always just seemed weak.
4/4 is too easy to kill. Eviscerate, Truesilver, Soulfire, Flamestrike, Swipe, Deaths Bite, it seems like too many classes can deal 4 damage way too easy. I dont really ever see Hogger survive and continue to put out the 2/2s. The BEST deck I used him in with was sword of justice, since hogger becomes 5/5 and the spawns become 3/3, which made it way harder to deal with. But its been a long time since I’ve tried him again.
