Hearthstone - That other, other, other Blizzard game

With aggro shaman having a weird resurgence, I have added Harrison Jones to my cancerous Hunter deck, with awesome results. Hitting a fresh Doomhammer with Harrison…

Put Shadow Madness in my deck and was pleasantly surprised when the opponent used Maexxna.

Shadow madness is so good.

Lost a fatigue war in a warrior mirror. Took about 20 minutes. Proceeded to finish tweaking my hunter deck, won 3 games in less than 10 minutes. Clearly I’ve been doing it wrong.

Hey guys want to know why death rattle hunter is so good?

Spoiler

because bots can’t play around undertaker and traps correctly

I’m playing this death rattle druid that can beef up an undertaker reallh fast with innervate and low cost death rattle minions lol. Power of the wild and savage roar kills them before they realize what’s going on lol

Playing priest, ekop style priest (http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/110888-ek0ps-priest-viagame-house-cup-october-2014) only since I dont have sylvanas, I ran loatheb (which works better for ladder anyway I believe).

Anyway, playing vs a priest in a mirror match. Similar decks, only I notice early on hes willing to burn way too much card advantage (dropped the 1/4 nerubian then did health buff + inner fire into my shadow word death!). So I figure if I take it to lategame, and make advantageous trades, I can easily take the match. Shadow Madness and cabal keep things interesting. Finally, we’re approaching end game.

He did what you never do: go full northshire.

And then with double northshire, he proceeded to draw into his last 10 cards (I had like 16 at this point). He also had dropped a nearly full board (including 2 fountains). So, I did what any respectable priest does: holy nova -> Circle of Healing -> Run my minion into his -> circle of healing again. Overdrew that bitch like a mofo. Was awesome, and again reiterates why you never go full northshire.
In his defense, he hadn’t seen one yet, so it was likely I didnt have any, but I was running double auchnei lol

So…I have to share this. I have to share this because I can’t believe i actually did it.

This thread on reddit hearthstone features a screenshot of a game in which they got no cards, and the comment “how are we supposed to play without cards?” Someone saying “rap battle!,” which led to about 3 dozen really, really bad attempts at Hearthstone-themed rap. I don’t blame people who don’t rap for not being good at it, but it was kind of frustrating, you know? And then, instantly, about 6 bars popped into my head, and I was like “well, damn, now I have to do it.”

Humor me.

Voidcaller+Doomguard=huge board advantage

it seems I’m the only one using Voidcaller (its a very good card, its a must for zoolock), and very few players have an answer to it (besides silencing), nearly every time I pull those 2 cards I win.

For example, I had this zoolock mirror, and I was only 1 single health, dude had 4 minions, I had 1 Voidcaller on board, Doomguard on hand, what happened next was surreal

Long story short, I ended up with 2 Doomguards, 1 Sludge belcher, 1 Illidan Stormrage and 2 2/1 tokens, also my health was back up to 7 thanks to his 2 Zombie Chows, on his board side, he just had 1 Harvest golem.

The longest games is always vs Control Warrior, which I win 8 out of 10, pretty much every game is decided until the last deck card.

My hardest match up is vs Priest, its either 4/6 or 3/7.

I used to struggle vs handlocks, but now I have a slight advantage unlike the past that I had no answers for it.

just won vs Handlock, turn 5 Doomguard pumped to 9 atck plus 4 dmg Soul fire as finisher

I thought of you guys last night when I was on my control warrior and played a mill druid. Thanks for breaking that deck down a few pages back, because I recognized it immediately.

While I didn’t have to discard, I was forced to make horrible horrible plays just to keep my hand size down. Not a fun experience.

@Warpticon‌ please cut a video for that, I love it

How do I beat hunter as Rogue?

Same way Rogue beats everyone, control the board until you can do a million damage.

I don’t see general tempo rogues working in this meta. Undertaker builds are practically that but far better and without taking damage to the face.

Only rogues i’ve been hearing is like, some minion based miracle rogue featuring violet teacher and apparently this one that made legend says he has “a 90% win ratio vs deathrattle hunter” or some exaggerated shit. I could see it working though. Tokens being freezing trapped, backstab for undertaker etc…

Isn’t MalyGod Rouge where it’s at?

Miracle Malygod is pretty hot right now, but I feel like thats more of a tournament deck than a ladder deck

It’s making me want to craft malygos for druid and rogue. Dammmmmmmmmmiiiiiiiittttttt.

Went full tilt yesterday… Rank 11 to 15. Might need to tweak my hunter a bit. Also had my first 0-3 run in arena. Was not a good hearthstone day for me!

Miracle malygos is fun. I don’t win a lot of games with it though. Meta is still too fast to wait for a 9 turn malygos

What I’ve been reading about Malygod is that it’s tricky to determine when you should actually push prior to maly. Seems really fun though.

I’ve been liking Alex with a bit more creatures over any Malygos variation, he’s just so slow and you’re not as free to play your cards.
About Hunters I’m either at 15 health turn 7 and end up getting raced despite getting board control or I simply get too set back by a Freezing Trap. I’ll try out that token Rogue deck, I can’t see it doing that well against other classes though.
