Hearthstone - That other, other, other Blizzard game

Is anyone still interested in starting an informal sort of league? Could use a Google Doc to keep track of everything.

Got an 84 this time. I’m moving up!

-8 for Darkscale healer, god dammit trump. 88 duo to her, but I still think she’s the better choice.

I…went back to Hunter, and I’m wrecking face on ladder so far. Took out UtH, a Houndmaster and Timber Wolves in order to add a Dire Wolf Alpha, Snake Traps, Knife Jugglers, and a Gladiator’s Longbow (extra reach + kill Sludge Belchers in one shot).

Buzzard nerf was completely justified, and Undertaker + Mad Scientist keeps the class relevant.

Funny how official forums went from hunters now shit tier class to nonstop complaining as much as prenerf hunter.

Nerfing buzzard only unleashed a deck more irritating than midrange into popularity

I actually enjoyed playing against midrange.

Midrange was fun to play. Face hunter is just… Not sure boring is the right word since it’s so fast, but after the mulligan you practically go auto pilot.

I’m between using that or DR priest to rank up before switching to pally/warrior

Lol. People always gonna complain about hunters.

Also I’m down for a league let’s make it happen rick

I decided finally buy 40 packs and start spending my 10000 dust afterwards to finish the competitive collection. Wish me luck with the randomizer…

Get anything good? Wow, I thought I had a bunch saved up with 5200…

I’m loving the supposed hunter domination, and that people are still so angry about them. People crying for nerfs deserve to be miserable, though those people would always complain about something regardless. I don’t understand why people keep overlooking the obvious. Zoolock and Hunter (the most complained about decks) are the most popular cause they are extremely low cost. You can do well with just the free cards, and u don’t need many expensive cards.

A league sounds interesting, don’t know if I’m ready for that though.

Actually it was the most terrible 40 booster opening my friend has ever seen. I got lorewalker cho and al’akir (which I already had anyway), so the only thing I got from it was a ~2000 dust from duplicates.
So I completed a handlock, druid, control warrior and freeze mage. Only 8800 dust worth of somewhat important cards left to get in order to be able to play anything competitive. (Tirion, Bloodmage, Harrison, PrepX2, Edwin and Malygos.)

League sounds like a good idea. Two more weeks until I’m halfway done with college, woo.

I very rarely play Paladin, but I guess I kinda have to now.

Get ready to truly feel the pain of silence.

Had my tirion facelessed this morning by a secrets mage who had already used 2 sheep and 2 silences. I was bitter.

But congrats, that’s an awesome pull!

What I don’t like about many Paladin decks is that they only have 1 big threat, which you know is coming at some point. So if I’m playing a priest for example, I just save my mind control or Sylvanas+word death and grab that Tirion for myself when he appears, which usually wins me the match.

My point is that if you are playing Paladin with Tirion, play a control deck with plenty of legendaries somewhat similar to control warrior.

My control pally has ysera added for just that purpose. At some point you won’t have removal, and at that point I drop ysera.

I used to run Gruul for the express purpose of eating removal.

Switched him out though, because he badly needs a buff.

Gruul is okay, he is 8/8 for 8 right? I had him in an arena run once. If he is silenced he is 7/7 but still usable. If u guys are topdecking when u place him down, he could very well win the game for you. King Krush needs a buff, I never see anyone use him. If he pops up cause a webspinner that may be the only time.

Tirion might be the most monstrous card in the game…unless he gets silenced.

Gruul should be a card that costs the remaining mana in your pool, and comes out as a x/x creature that grows.
