Hearthstone - That other, other, other Blizzard game

Do you got most of the core cards though? I would be wary going on a crafting spree unless you’re pretty sure to be playing a certain deck for a while

Well what are considered core cards? My legendaries are: Ysera, Sylvannas, Cairne, and hogger (plus naxx). *forgot Harrison

Now I’m thinking about buying a 40 pack so I hopefully get something and don’t have to make a decision.

This is why i played Zoo for 3 months

Well, i did it. Thalnos is gone. Got a Cairne, Sylvanas, and Ysera now. (had dust from dusting my 2 Leeroys just sitting there).

Thats a great core. I think my next legendary is going to be alextraza. Need her for those grindy control games.

@Warpticon‌ what decks are you playing with those cards? Looks like we have the same couple of legendaries.

Yeah Alex is really good right now. I’ve been playing her in Rogue and Druid and she’s been stellar, makes me free to blow a lot of my burn to maintain board control.

Control Paladin core cards:

2 x Equality
2 x Concentration
2 x Wild Pyromancer
2 x Truesilver
2 x Aldor Peacekeeper
1 x Loathe
1 x Guardian of Kings
1 x Tirion
1 x Lay on Hands

Adding to that, almost all of the successful control pally decks add 1 x Holy Light and 1 x Humility.

Probably want to add 2 x Sludge to that, 1 x Kodo as a core.

Then throw in what you’ll think you need. More AOE, bigger creatures, legendaries or more taunts, up to you.

Well, I have more than those. All my legendaries, not including the Naxx ones I assume everybody has by now

Greenskin
Murk-Eye
Harrison
Cho
Krush
Mukla
Alex (crafted her a couple weeks ago for my secret mage deck)
Nozdormu (I forgot I even had him)
Hogger

Gold Sylvanas was my second legendary ever, disenchanted her to build up my rare/epic collection when I didn’t have many. Don’t regret it. And I just added Cairne, Sylvanas and Ysera today, so I’m having to learn how to play those cards now. And I’m still a rag, a grommash, and a geddon from a standard control warrior deck, haha.

Main thing I did with those 3 card was put them straight into my deathrattle priest deck. It’s now pretty much a carbon copy of this deck: http://bmkgaming.com/dream-ladder-trembles-playing-dragon-priest-top-legend/

Been playing a token druid deck with a lower overall curve than my old druid deck for the last day or so. Turn 1 innervate > shade is soooooo dirty. I had one get to 10/10 on turn 10 and double facelessed it. Even better if you can get Echoing oozes are also great for token decks. You know it’s on when your token ability is so strong you run out of room for tokens and they don’t happen.

That ooze didn’t even echo. :disappointed_relieved:

Also been playing a for-fun-maybe-serious semi-demon midrange warlock deck. Only 6 demons: 2x voidcaller, 2x void terror, 2x dread infernal. Void terrors get a lot of stuff to eat: nerubian eggs, ancient watchers, owls, stalagg and feugen, and anything else that’s half dead or power overwhelmed. Infernals are surprisingly handy even when a voidcaller doesn’t summon them, especially with all the spiders and little stuff makers getting play today. May be fairly legit with some tweaking.

Yeah Shade is one of the top cards right now, should be included in most slower/midrange decks as an replacement or companion to Harvest Golem.
I’m currently playing a Rogue deck with double conceal, double shade and double cold blood. It’s really grimy.

I’ve been running shade in just about anything that doesn’t use undertaker. If you get it on an even board turn 3, it is a constant threat your opponent needs to play around.

Edit: pulled the trigger. Got 2 legendaries, the beast and rag. Dusted the beast and a few of my extra gold cards.

With the dust I made, I crafted grom, tirion, and TBK. Completed my control warrior, control pally, and tempo priest decks.

Set up for a while, so I don’t regret it. Next up is handlock, which will take me a long time now.

Here’s the deck I talked about earlier.

Super fun deck chock full of threats. Combo deck where pretty much everything combos with everything.

Playing the old token druid deck with auctioneer, moonfires, cenarius, haunted creeper, illidan (lol) swapped out cairne because i wanted to, and sludge belcher.

Either im going to deck myself out with auctioneer x2 as hard as miracle rogue or im going to blow my hand for a buffed field of minions and THEN refill it with stupid card draw. Good fun.

Also i got onyxia so ill swap out illidan for her after i had my fun annnnd i don’t have to worry so much about unleash anymore so i can flood the field without too much worry.

If you play Moonfire, you should run Maly and do the DPS.

Korbidon, you just gave me an interesting idea. Thanks!

EDIT: Nope, Ancient Mage Druid sucks ass, and is inferior to Ancient Mage Shaman, which is itself on the fringe of playability.

So apparently Alex is pretty important to control warrior. Whoops. Going to have to save up again.

Also, learning new decks isn’t quite as easy as I anticipated. Struggling a little learning to use the good cards I have now.

It’s very important, cause you’re gonna be on the defensive most of the time and Alex will pretty much set you up for lethal faster

Would be nice if i had one. Too niche to craft but too fun to miss out on.

I played a spelldamage druid for a while, who had a finish combo of Maly + 2x Moonfire. Really unreliable, but man, the DPS you can do make Mage’s look like a joke.
