poeple saying he did 80% on chun-li in that initial video need to look closer. If you pay attention, when he uses that super, Chun li is ALREADY missing about 30% of her life, and the super wittled it away to about 20%, so it does AT MOST 50%. high damage output? yes. OP damage output? no.
We’re not even sure if that whole thing after the arial rave actually combos. That could have just been a matter of the Chun-li sleepin at the stick.
also, so far, that’s the only time I’ve seen that ultra puled off, and I feel inclined to guess that is is very close ranged. His other ultras have fantastic range and comboability, but do significantly less damage.
I was there and played with ss krull and he was amazing by far my favorite, I am glad they included him instead of the FF4 because we get them all with him.
I tend to mix Super, Ultra and Hyper combos up all the time. In my mind, they all translate to the same thing: " A meter based attack that does far more damage than a normal attack or combo."
im not a comic guy, and i had to wikipedia skrull after having seen him. that said, dude looks great and i would put him in my top 3 for characters i want to check out first.
Am I the only one getting a kinda MvC2 Jin vibe from this guy? I mean, he has obviously different movesets, but skrull looks like the same kind of “avergage sized character with the damage output of a heavy hitter and excellent range” kinda feel.
obviously Super Skrull will be alot better than Jin, since it loks like capcom’s actually trying to give Skrull something to approach with (what looks like a teleport).
You know that one video where Super Skrull takes about 80% of Chun Li’s life? I’m pretty sure that got edited in some way, or they are using a weird version of the game, since I’m pretty sure that the special that he uses to end it was actually his level 3 hyper. Now of course the problem with that is that it only used one bar, but from watching all the videos popping up, there’s a distinct sound effect that occurs when hypers are used (kind of like a choir starting up or something) and that happens right before SS uses that move. Also it would explain why no one seems to be using the attack in the stream.
