Cool, we got 16 and it’s not even Wed yet. = ) If more ppl wanna sign up, please do. We’ll see if we can hit 32 before Fri. Though, I doubt it. If not though, the extra entrants will be signed up first for the next tourney. And if there are any volunteers for backup (4 should do it, thanks to BustahWulf and VOLTECH for being the 1st volunteers), that would be great.

If we do get 32 though, that’s gonna be a lot for 1 person to handle, so if someone else would like to help out at that time, that would be great. I’m thinking having 2 separate 16 player tourneys, one for each director, and having the winners play each other, or something like that. I’m also thinking of having the grand final as best of 5 matches.

I’ll post the matchups either way, by Thu night or Fri.

Tournament date: Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, 7PM PST, 8PM MST, 9PM CST, 10PM EST

Rules:
Settings: Best of 3 rounds, Best of 3 matches, Double elimination, Loser allowed to counterpick, Winner must stick with the same character, Speed 3, Time On
Banned: Start colors for disconnect issues

Thanks TOS and Spoon. Thanks for the heads up Chunbee. Bustah, I put you in Chunbee’s spot since you were the first backup. BTW, all the backups are gonna be in the 32-player tourney if we get 16 more entrants. You guys know that right? There’s still 3 days left, so plenty of time.

BTW, True_Old_School, if you still wanted to be in Syxx’s brackets, I’ll switch spots with you (doesn’t matter to me either way). If not, things will stay the same.

And I still need a volunteer to direct the 2nd 16 player tourney. If there’s nobody by Friday, it’ll just be a 16 player tourney, as I’m not gonna do a 32 player tourney by myself. Either that, or I’ll do the 2nd one 2 hours after the 1st.

We use the PSN text msgs to communicate. I just thought of using Playstation home, but don’t know how feasible that would be. Anybody with some tips on PSH?

i think its best were all in a chat lobby. like everyone can get on ggpo and get into a empty room and go from there. everyone would be bale to talk to any1 they want. but idk if everyone has there pc next to there ps3.
