Good matches with VOLTECH and MisterEgoTrip. Man, all my tourney matches were sloppy and didn’t feel like how I normally perform but that’s no excuse; if anything, it’s helped show me that not warming up will be quite detrimental to my playing ability and to not ever take a shortcut hoping to get a faster win. You may have come out on top this time, Ego, but it’ll be PSN that suffers as I’m pledging to stick with claw for every match in the foreseeable future. And expect time overs a lot since I won’t be budging an inch the next time someone tries turtling without a lead in life…

I was on tonight but I guess you decided to take a night off from your 24/7 Street Fighter schedule… Let’s try Thursday night after 8:00pm? Early tomorrow night probably won’t work for me as the Laker game is on. If I get home from the gym early, I might be on around 11:30 later tomorrow night.
Branta…GGs my friend! Seems there’s no other way to fight a claw in this particular match up and yes I’ve been playing other claws lately so I had a chance to see what works and what doesn’t. We’re both going to stall since our counters are too deadly for either of us when we try to rush and jump in. Like you mention a while back, I learn quick! So if that’s what it comes down too…bring it on son!!!

GG’s to Branta & MisterEgoTrip We played at least 10 games after the tourney matches, and now I definitely know why there’s a reason why you guys are in the top 50 out of 10,000. Ego, even though I’ve had you on my friend list for a while, I should’ve taken advantage on those 1 on 1 matches. And Branta, your Vega is uncanny… it’s no doubt you can give the top players a hard time.

GG’s Branta Your claw got the best of me but it was a close match, took it to the 3rd match in the 3rd round lol. I just need to remember not to try and rush you down but Chun is a terrible turtle with no solid anti air. I think Claw is the only match up I don’t quite understand yet, since only a few people play him with any skill and I’m too stubborn to counter pick. I guess I found my new STHDR goal “destroy the Gay Claw” You heard me, All Claw players I’m coming for you
Can I watch? Seriously though, you’re gonna have a hard time with that since Chunners has historically had a hard time against Claw and Guile…if your opponent knows what they’re doing.
ggs yesterday, btw, your game has really improved. As for counter-picking, if you ever do decide to pick another main, I’d suggest Claw, Guile, and DJ. Dunno know why, but they just seem to be a match for your fighting style.

Not to worry. The matchup is pretty even because both sides have really good defenses. Unfortunately, I went with the “all out” approach (which worked on Ego just 2 weeks ago) instead of the more reliable art of brinkmanship and he sat on it.
VOLTECH: Anytime. Gayga is always ready to show who the most beautiful fighter is. Chun Li actually doesn’t have it that bad against claw and is somewhat favorable against Guile because of the super. Counter-pick all you like; nobody is a great counter against claw…

according to the bracket, finals came down to Ego vs. either Blitz or TOS…
Correct me if I’m wrong but I remember talking to TOS last night, and he beat out Blitz… so it’s TOS and Ego in the finals.
TOS and I will play tonight and will let mustain know after it’s over! Both of us can use a break from this game! HDR has consumed my life!!!

Wow, it’s actually over! Congratulations to True_Old_School for seizing the victory of the tournament! Awesome dude that always delivers! I know I play him a lot in the late night sessions and we’ve always slugged it out but it was an honor to play against him as a Finalist! I hope he sticks around to keep playing HDR as frequently as he has been!
