Damn last night didn’t work out for me. The Lakers game was on so I couldn’t get the TV until later in the evening. Then I ended up crashing early because the last 2 nights in a row I was up way too late. I’ll be on tonight around the same time 7pm until I go out around 10pm or so. Half-Fro Lets do this thing!

I think your schedule makes it difficult for him or anyone else to play you so I hope you don’t mind if he advances to the next round. We were supposed to have our last 4 matches Friday night, then I extended the deadline by 24 hrs and still nothing. I want this thing over by Sunday. VOLTECH, go ahead and play ShooSRK. And DJmassif, please play beautyinviolence. Those are the last 2 matches we need to have our last 8 so please make it happen ASAP.

Rien896 (a.k.a. megaultrasuper) sent me a PM and says he can’t play until Tuesday. Total bummer, and he definitely put in effort to try to get ahold of me too; our lives aren’t really lining up, haha.

Post Mid-Tourney Preview
Yeah, I touched based with DJMassif and we should be squaring off tonight. I forgot he was a Honda player too! I hope he’s been getting his practice on with some good mirror matches! Lately, I’ve been running into some really good mirrors from the likes of RenoMD, str8crazy87 and hubang…so y’all know what’s up? This ought to be an interesting fat on fat violence!
And speaking of recording matches, it’s really coming down to the heavyweights! I’d like to see the blitzfu and True_Old_School match. That one is going to be like the long-awaited rematch from the previous online tournament that was held many, many moons ago. I watched some of their matches one night where they were at war and it was like watching CPU vs CPU set at the highest difficulty duking it out. These guys are like flawless machines when they get into their serious rhythm!
Also, I know that dude Branta, who also plays on 360 and GGPO, got one of the sickest Claw on PSN/HDR from what I’ve seen so far. He’s got to go up against VOLTECH, one of the meanest thighs you’d want to face on PSN. I’d really like to see a recording of Pretty Thighs vs. Pretty Face. :karate:
Lastly, props to mustain for organizing the online event and to the people that’s participated! Glad to see some familiar players return to play HDR again!

AndyChamp: After I lost the first match, I had that moment of hesitation…Vega or Chun? Vega or Chun? Dang. I wonder who, in reality, is a better matchup against Honda.
Anyway, ours matches were pretty close too. Should have been a bit more aggressive.
MrEgo: I’m with you; I’m hoping that someone will be able to record those matches. I know Voltech is able to record.
Non-update: I still haven’t hooked up with True_old_school yet. He did get my message (accepted my friend req) but I haven’t seen him online or received any messages from him. Go ahead and give him the advance, I guess.
I went out of town on Saturday night and didn’t get back in till Monday night. I saw that the bracket was updated for me to play Str8crazy87, who I beat last night. I have no problem giving you my spot if you beat me, but try to hit me up tonight since Mustain is trying to wrap this thing up. If you beat me, you will probably have to fight St8crazy87 before you fight Blitzfu. I’ll be on tonight after 7:30pm if you still want to play our match.

Sportsmanship at its finest. Awesome stuff. If Dead-frog and st8crazy is OK with that, I’m Ok with that. I am trying to wrap and AGX and I are preparing some new/different for you guys. We’ll post something to that effect soon.
VOLTECH and I are going to play tonight sometime around 10:30EST. The winner will go on to play the MisterEgoTrip-djmassif winner. And if the other side of the bracket is done around the same time, we may be able to just finish it up tonight. Otherwise, 1 more day tops (hopefully).
I’ll be online in about 2 hours so we can get started and hopefully finish this up tonight.
