Yeah I have a xbox and a ps3 copy coming on the 15th. The nice thing about hdr being on the hard drive is I do not have to take a game out to play it which is why it is so easy to come back to it. But like I said I just dont like the idea of having to schedule multiple matches over a period of time. We have people struggling in the ps3 league I’m in to get 2 matches done in two weeks.
Like I said people love how these little tourneys have been lasting a little over a hour and double elimination. They have been pretty smooth and running like clockwork. I’ll keep checking to see who has signed up but between MVC3, SSF4, Killzone 3, I am going to be a little occupied.
Sign me up. The round robin idea sounds great and a one week period sounds perfect. I have a feeing 80% of the matches will be on the last day though lol.
This is what I’m afraid of. I’m hoping that those who join are committed enough to try and finish as soon as they can. Though I will probably implement a few fail-safes to try and smooth things out – I’ll have the details worked out shortly.

IF THERE ARE LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO 9 PLAYERS:
Event will start on Friday, February 18 and end by 11:59PM EST of the same day. Remaining Semi-Final and Grand Final matches will be force started by 10:30PM EST. Incomplete regular games will be counted as a no show (loss) by 10:30PM EST.
IF THERE ARE 10-16 PLAYERS:
At least 50% of the games must be played by 11:59PM EST on Monday, February 21. Incomplete games of the first half of the bracket will count as a no show (loss). All games will be completed by 11:59PM EST on Friday, February 25. Remaining Semi-Final and Grand Final matches will be force started by 10:30PM EST. Incomplete regular games will be counted as a no show (loss) by 10:30PM EST.
IF THERE ARE 16+ PLAYERS:
At least 33% of the games must be played by 11:59PM EST on Monday, February 21. Incomplete games of the first third of the bracket will count as a no show (loss). At least 66% of the games must be played by 11:59PM EST on Wednesday, February 23. Incomplete games of the second third of the bracket will count as a no show (loss). All games will be completed by 11:59PM EST on Friday, February 25. Remaining Semi-Final and Grand Final matches will be force started by 10:30PM EST. Incomplete regular games will be counted as a no show (loss) by 10:30PM EST.
On another note, everyone above this post has been included. I’d also like to note that although there is a guided timeline for this event, it may be improvised upon and we could potentially finish this in one sitting.
@Royal Phlush: Let me know if you’re going to make it to Naptown Clutch by the end of tonight if possible, I’ll try and squeeze you in last minute.
So it’s a little past 5PM EST; just wanted to leave a note and reminder that everyone up to BaklaKiller (with the exception of Royal Phlush, which I will need confirmation soon if possible) has been included and that sign ups are closing tonight in about 7 hours (midnight).
Games can start immediately after sign ups are closed. For those who are available later on, I’d like to get our matches done early. I’ll be on at 9PM EST-maybe 1 or 2AM mostly everyday of the week for those who want a more specific time to deal with it more officially.
