Here’s a very short one I made to show how you can DP the Lightning Legs and Hundred Hand Slaps, even after getting hit by their first hits:

That is exactly why I don’t do Lightning Legs from point blank, but no one else I’ve played has ever caught on that you can do that.
Is it the same on block ?
And if so could Vega do the same ?
I’m pretty sure you can at least backflip after blocking or taking a hit, if you’re not in a corner it means you’re pretty safe. Not sure about flipkick though.

Apparently Thelo accidentally deleted the footage, but when we were testing this, the first one we did was vs short Lightning Legs and he got a reversal jab DP as Ken and it whiffed. You can see that the ones he hit with were the strong ones, which go farther, have more invuln, etc. He hit HHS with a jab one somehow. I don’t know if the hitboxes are worse or he was closer or it was in frame where the hitboxes were lined up to be hit.
edit - Oh, it’s probably because I was doing fierce HHS, so I was advancing forwards into the DP.
edit - Yeah, Honda advances after the first hit, so the jab DP was really deep.
Very nice Thelo. That’s definitive proof that Honda can be hit out of his Slaps after the 1st hit connects. I knew the Lightning Legs could be hit after the 1st hit, but Honda’s Slaps is a different story. There was some debate going on in the sirlin.net forums about this, and Sirlin said something to the effect of (paraphrasing heavily here) Honda cannot be hit after the 1st hit of the Slaps due to some type of programming that prevents it, or something like that. Nice to finally have confirmation that he can be hit out of the Slaps.
Doesn’t it feel like hitstun for the Slaps and Legs seem shorter than blockstun? It does to me, but that’s probably not right.

Under Request of Aqua Snake
I did take some videos at WCW this year. Most of them were of Finals after Valle took me to school. So if you’re interested in seeing those, they’re more or less the same as the GYT videos Aqua Snake posted earlier except I did a little commentary along with sitting next to thrust07.

The only other videos recorded were of my bracket matches that weren’t on the stream. One was my [media=youtube]L4ZcLLtrmRc"]first match and the other one was later on in the [URL=“http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ezG-kUo21_g”[/media].
I do have two recordings of some XBL casuals. I’ll try to upload more (if I don’t stay on the sticks for longer than 10 minutes) in the future as I just got into this whole recording business. Lately school’s been keeping me busy, but summer seems promising with EVO and all. If anyone wants to watch my sloppyass Dee Jay, just poke around on my Youtube channel.

Hey Count I didn’t know you where from Wellsville lol I was born there and pretty much all my relatives still live there, wish I would have know that at WCW. Anyway The beating that Vintage gave me was pretty funny because I had just beat his brother (Dark Gaiden) when he decided to play and beat me. He did this again The night of the finals as well. I had just made my way around the room beating everyone including Snake Eyes and Damdai then he sits down and takes me out lol. Mr I don’t play I watch, better start playing!
