then technically the end should come pre-stripped so people can crimp on their own ends (you figure if they are building their own stick they would have access to a crimping tool) hence making it convenient yet non discriminatory.
i don’t know i’ve seen a bunch of custom sticks /madcatz’s / hori (i think you would have to cut strip and crimp anyways) and rarely seen any that use the male connectors or don’t use a junction block, chultu/ps360+ or etc - but if two posters say it’s true and are the majority than who am i to question.
eitherway you can’t make everyone happy no matter which way you went.
Another way to look at is if you dont need the male end, you can still cut it off and strip the wire and call it a day. Having it included out of the box makes it easier for the average person. And believe it or not, not everyone who opens up their stick has a crimping tool, let alone a wire stripper in some cases.
Hori has never used a distribution block just Madcatz and I don’t even think you can purchase that style of block, also having a wire crimper and also having a spare 0.110 is way too much trouble for most
I just realized, these use Cherry reds, right? Keyboard players would probably love these things. The hitbox guys should hop on these(possibly as an alternative button option). I’m sure that would be an epic partnership. That would make the hitbox the ultimate stick for keyboard players.
Just got the Master and a keychain. This is a really cool project and I hope you manage to get there. People are right about making a 24 for the hitbox users. Plus, since these are hex shaped people will still need matching start, select and home buttons so either way someone will want them.
I think HITBOX guys is most looking forward to HBFS.
In fact, HBFS-24 has been developed.
If the project fund-raising success, HBFS-24 will produce in the near future.
after like, 15 year playing rts i finnaly found a reason to trythe cherryes. I will be ordering some I think, do you have it on different colors (the button’s cap, not the microswitch)?
