That’s why I very generously elected to explain exactly how they work. I thinking he will have changed his mind, but I guess we will find out. A community member is doing something great and just got thrown under the bus because he(and indiegogo) isn’t trustworthy.
Super excited to see the front page article go up, and the large jump in the goal!
I’ll be donating on Friday when this check goes through.
Any chance of us getting a screw in button? Snap in buttons are great, but I’d like to be able to use this in a wooden case.
Not even Markman but this seems like, if it turns out as solid as it looks, something that Mad Catz could use to really differentiate their sticks from everyone elses.
After reading the topic i can see a cause of concern but seeing how things work with indiegogo and milksharks dedication in reading feedback it help us believe in milksharks word.
I really wish it didn’t have the hex design and weren’t snap in. I like the idea a lot to have clicky buttons. Has this been posted at other forums dedicated to arcade controls?
Speaking from the POV of many PC gamers, Steam Summer Sale just happened. My donation made me broke till the end of the month and I’m sure a few others weren’t expecting this to be offered this month as well. Plus if you look at the Tech Talk forum most of them are donating as soon as paychecks are in so I don’t think this is anywhere near bottomed out.
The fact that it’s almost halfway funded in less than ten days is impressive. I just hope it keeps up. If this gets made, 2012 will truely be the year of the arcade stick.
There will be a way to purchase these after they are released, right? Also, is it possible to get the Professional and pick which 2 types of switches I want? I’d like to try the Blues, but in the picture the first two are shown.
Yup. I was going to order some and now I am on the fence because of that. I guess it’s not a huge problem but it is quite a bit more effort than the way the current standard of buttons install.
