ryu is fine, i knew there would be a dmg nerf on vipers moves, since you do anything else she is gonna end up terrible.

Because that’s what evo did for a lot of games and there was a lot of feedback for making GF 3/5.
we are not on a scope of even a reoccurring regional comparing it to evo format is out of place here. also it affects time spent on the tourney and creates a fantastic double 3out5 loser climb.
i am against having this as the finals format.
Well, as the only supplier of the only monthly tournament in the area, I’m keeping it 3/5 GF for this month to test it out. Also, it doesn’t include WF or LF.
edit: If it ends up taking too long, I’ll revert back to 2/3 for October. I just recall that there was a lot of flack (specifically from you, Mike) for a long time about Gameware not being 3/5 for any of the finals, so I’m going to give it a shot.
i have never said i wanted 3/5…in my lifetime. i think this “flack” is made up. iv never heard anyone who makes it to top 3 complain about it
If running late is a actual concern, I’d suggest enforcing the no wireless controller rule. I had to remind one person 3 separate times to desync / remove battery. It was slowing down station 1 of the Marvel setup everytime he finished a match.

I got blown up pretty quick. There were better Skrulls there honestly. I was running Hulk / Taskmaster / Skrull. I’m 95% sure I’ll be keeping Skrull in Ultimate, but looking to replace the others for sure.
