I saw 5bars today. I tried to join but i got the dreaded āunable to playā message.
i finally seen a 5 bar today while doin tourney modeā¦i thought it was all a myth!!! lmao
NOTE: Capcom has LOWERED the bar requirementsā¦that is why you are seeing 5 bars.
5 bars post 24th patch = 4 bars before the patch.
4 after = 3 before
And so onā¦
NOTHING IS FASTER, but you get to see more bars.

There is no such thing as āmy connection = five barsā.
The bars represent PLAYER TO PLAYER PING TIMEā¦that is why there are no bars shown until someone joins your lobby.
The bars are a representation of the time it takes a packet to go from the host, to the opponent, and back againā¦so its not YOUR CONNECTION, its representative of both of you.
You could have a connection directly to the fiber optic backbone for your whole region, pull 100Mbps up and down, and STILL only see three bars if the other guyās conneciton is slow.
Remember: The bars represent the slowest point from you to your opponent, it doesnāt matter where the bottleneck is, only that it is present between you.
Iām getting like, one 5 bar connection every 50 matches or so in C mode, and iāve never even had one in any other mode. I wonder why that is.
Iāve never received 5 bar connections until Championship Mode was released, and now Iām getting some in CE as well as a couple in Player Matches. I wonder if they changed somethingā¦

i usually have 5 bars ā¦ all my friends on my list says i have 5 bars all the time then sometimes it drops to 4
I get my fair share actually. I donāt know whether itās because i live directly in the city or what, but i get them every 6-10 games or so.
Saw my first 5 bar yesterday. Immediately friended the guy on live. First and only one Iāve seen, but it does exist apparently
