Hardest Characters To Use?

Kay, but “spending time in the lab” is experience, it’s not theoryfighting.

True, but it’s not the most informative experience to see what your character can/cannot do, and what he/she is good at, and how that stacks up against everyone else. Anyway you get my point, I get yours, it just my opinion, blah blah blah

I would say… Chun Li.

It’s easy to mash buttons with her, but to actually use her well? It’s gonna take a LOT of lab-time just to start getting the hang of it.

Then I’d say… C.Viper?

It’s easy to mash buttons with everybody. You just call an assist and nothing happens. Even with Nemesis’
-20 something launcher, you can call an assist and still have time for a mixup.

lol

I don’t get it? It’s just that he has trouble confirming off of iAD without using S? Everything else is easy.

Pssh if Firebrand was fraud friendly, many more people would be using him -_-.

That’s what I was talking about when I said this thread is full of people hoping to feel better about themselves and gain respect by claiming their character is difficult to use.

Just cause Firebrand has got a lot of tech and is not easy to play at a high level, doesn’t mean he’s not fraud friendly.

I use him, and I’m the most fraudulent person in this whole thread!

I’m not saying he’s extremely difficult to use. Im just saying he’s not very fraud friendly because his damage is nonexistent and you can’t throw him on any team and get results. When I think Fraud-Friendly I think

Wolverine/Sentinel/SpencerVergil/Hulk/Frank/Wesker/Hawkeye/Taskmaster/Arthur/Haggar/Phoenix etc… people with a relatively easy high damage gimmick

When I think Fraud-Friendly, I think characters with a very abusable normal, special, or piece of tech. Unblockable, instead overhead, 3f jab, snap loops, fireball zoning. It’s really easy to scrub it out with Firebrand

just because you’re an easy character to play doesn’t mean people are going to jump on board. he’s unpopular, sure, but there’s no execution barrier to playing him (unless you think command air dashes are hard) and he has what is easily one of the best neutral games in the cast. no, you can’t just throw him onto a team without any thought, but that has no bearing on how simple he is to play.

Considering the ease of other characters, could you really say that he’s fraudulant? I mean, he’s pretty easy to use, I’ll admit that, but there are many procedures to be taken with making a legit team for the guy. If anything i’d say Normal rather than Easy.

Phoenix Wright.
It takes so much effort just to finger people.

given that MvC3 is a rather fraud-friendly game, other characters being even easier to play doesn’t change the fact that Firebrand takes minimal effort.

Therefore he’s Normal because he’s the norm. (Just kidding)

Nah, he’s fraud-friendly. In terms of learning and using him effectively, I’d say he’s pretty hard because of all the tech and strategies and resets and combos and setups and zoning and movement and other shit that you’ve got to learn. But, that doesn’t mean he isn’t fraud friendly. Fraud-friedly doesn’t mean easy, it means abusable. You don’t really have to put any time in the lab in order to get 50% win rate with him, similar to Wolvie.

Well, if you say so. Honestly, it should always take time to learn a character no matter how easy. Though some characters are harder than others, there’s really no difference when you try to come up with an effective strategy with either of them. I dunno, just seem a little weird to call a character easy when technically all of them take legitimate time to learn.

I don’t want to have another argument. I’ve been getting into an arguement on like every fucking page. You guys should stop being wrong. :3

Gi~ :3

I came back here to tell everybody that Hsien-Ko is hard.

Then I remembered golden armor and gave up trying to think of a hard to use character.
