once you start looking for justifications to not use your best tools because they are hard, you inherently cap yourself out.

Not saying it’s hard, I just dislike it. I think her moveset doesn’t fit the character she is, imho.

I can slide it from c.mk to LP daggers or using LP MP HP MK on the 4 up buttons. I think I need to focus a little bit more on that cause a couple of times I get the damned red focus T__T

would you like to say why you don’t like it? You don’t like safe on block blockstring enders that build hella meter and put your opponent in an uncertain situation?

It’s pretty much ending a blockstring with yun’s cr.mk xx lp shoulder, but you can’t reversal inbetween @_@

The move’s great annd the setups you can do after are also really gud. I prolly expressed myself incorrectly xD

I figured. I’m pretty sure PONG saw the same Damdai vs SteveS match I saw. If he did then he’s referring to reversal Ken fierce DP punishing jab hands all the time.

Pretty funny when you get DP’d after lp hands from c.mp then do it again from max range c.mk and it whiffs :smiley:
c.mk xx lp hands is awesome, finally getting consistent with it

My execution is far from great, especially outside of the training room, but I get cr.mk >lp hands 95 % of the time in training room from day one (with stick). My method is the slide method, starting from crouching lp+mk (mk with thumb, lp with index finger) and then sliding to hp and back to lp. If you’re not comfortable with the index finger, show em the middle finger, but this forces you to twist your fingers in an awkward way. I don’t like it.
I mapped mp to the 3p button. So if I want hp hands I slide to the fourth button and back to hp. If I need mp hands (which I never do) I press mk+lp, release it, immediately press lp again, slide to hp and back to mp. There you have your five inputs.

The first problem with this method is EX hands, which i don’t get consistently and the second is, that sometimes I want to stop and return at hp, hit the 3p (second mp button) by accident and get the unsafe mp hands.

wait so if you space a LP rapid dagger from cr MK it can be safe? i thought i got blown up for it today with LP DP, maybe i was too close?

good way to practice hands is set the dummy to all block in training. its way harder to get it to come out when they are blocked and i found thats when im missing my inputs the most in-game. the speed is so much faster than honda requires.

having EX come out is actually not even a bad use of meter even if blocked because of the insane pushback and free “even” mixup that i would say is normally in your favour.

i’ve only said it was safe 3x on this page, idk how many times i have to say it is safe.

That seems hard, can i just like, not do them ever and replace them with random scramble divekicks and hp breaks?

Does anyone else know that crossup hp break to u2 works, and that if you meaty it it’s safe on block?

Why is X tool bad? I know I’ve only been playing her for 18 minutes, but I’m pretty sure I have 100% assurance in the validity of this tool and it is crappy.
