Excellent games today at mohawk (mainly directed to Nam)
Rey: I need some tips on Akuma play style. Or if anyone else knows (that means you to NAM) help me out here.

In the air:
Lotsa air fireballs (the later, the better/safer, a great way to close in on people), lotsa air hurricane (can hit very low, if hit, follow up w/ fierce dp, or st.lp reset - dash - whatever, st. fierce > rh. demon flip kick + kick for added pressure, etc.), and mix in some dive kick as well.
Do the air hurricane and the dive kick at the peak of his jump whenever possible.
On the ground:
The general idea here is to mix all kinds of shit up, from tick-walk up-throw to tick-dash-throw to tick-kara-throw, add in the occasional command overhead/universal overhead and try to land his lk hurricane as much as possible after d.mk/st.mk (mix these two up after you knock someone down, 'cause one can only be parried low, the other high), then juggle with whatever (preferably fierce dp, easy and does nice damage, or go for resets into other things).
His lk hurricane juggle is one of Akuma’s only real way to do big damage, so landing that should be your main priority.
Incorporate both his air game and his rush down-ground game evenly and correctly and you’ve got yourself a decent Akuma.
Hmm, I thought I already told you all these stuff already?
Other stuff:
His teleportation is a good runaway device, use that to get out of corners or if they’re pressuring the crap out of you.
And I can’t believe I forgot about this, but he can teleport out of most (if not, all) of Urien’s Aegis traps, some scrub did this to my Urien a whole lot today and he successfully escaped from harm everytime.
Just another reason why Akuma owns everyone and their mothers for free.
Hahaha.
And I’ll talk to you about his Raging Demon setups and the guaranteed 1st his of his ground pound super thingie some other time, whenever we see each other in person.

Another thing:
Mix up his ground hurricane w/ mk’s and hk’s, throws alot of people off (thinking they could duck under it and retaliate right after it goes over them, but instead gets hit because he’s still spinning like a cracked up motherfucker.
Hahahah basically he’s telling you that your playing 3s and you should all you need to do in this game to win is learn how to throw /tick throw. That tip works for 90-100% of the cast in 3s
Combos are so overrated.

Who’s all going to the mall on Saturday? I might stop in, last time was fun. Hopefully we get the same players to show up. I know that Rey, Jamie and Jim won’t be there, but the more the better. I know that Vince, John and Darko wanna be there. Vince wants some revenge. 
Anyways, I’ll show up around 2:30 or 3. Hopefully there will be some people there.
Ill go to eastgate on saturday, hopefully aaron will be there so i can exact some revenge. Kinda wanna go to Orbitz to if anyone else wants to go. Thats the best way of saving money. I could try to just stay home saturday night but i know thats not gonna happen

im thinking going in the after noon but i wanna stay till atleast eleven cause if i get home before eleven im screwed. Its alot cheaper to stay at P Mall all day then it is to go drinking at My Cottage, or Funky Munky.

orbitz is open till like 1 in the morning. the actual mall closes at like 8 or something tho. And ya combos are overatted, ghetto tricks is where its at like whiff headbutt throw, and empty jump/roll super.
If you guys plan on going to Orbit until 1am, I don’t think that I would be able to make it. I can ditch out on the girlfriend for a couple of hours without her caring too much, but if it’s until 1am, I’m a fucking dead man. I’ll be at EG on Saturday I guess.
Just as an added incentive, the clocks fall back 1 hour on Saturday so I can’t be sure but I think we may get six hours of UN instead of five hours for the same price. HAHA!
Vanny; you know if you just did things a little differently UN wouldn’t be a problem. First off you should tell your girlfriend NOW (like today) that you want to use Saturday night to play with the buds. However, instead of you doing whatever you’d do in the daytime (probably EG) you’ll spend the day with her. You don’t have to leave Hamilton until like 6:30pm or whatever anyway so everyone wins.

Sadly, if I did something like that. She’d think that something was up. The other thing is, I’d like to go to Guv later on that night. With a full day of gaming, I don’t know how much energy I would have to last the night boogying away. And considering that I don’t do E, I actually have to have the energy to stay up. But who knows, I’ll talk to her before I go to work and see what she decides my plans are. But thanks for the advice big man.

Just want to make sure everybody knows this just so there’s no misunderstanding but there is no UN this Saturday. Maybe I’m just reading some of the previous posts a bit wrong but it sounds like people think UN is still this Saturday.
