After reading the synopsis on Halopedia.com it seems like the Covenant(Remnant?) were just tacked on as an enemy type =/

Good, if it was just the Promethean enemies, I would have lost interest in the combat of this game far before I finished it. Promethean Knights might be the low point of enemy design for this series for me. Even with the pointers Furious said, they are bottom of the barrel opponents. Half the time they just stand around indifferently, then start teleporting all over the place the instant you take shots at them-that is if they don’t flat out lose interest in killing you and spend minutes at a time backtracking to whatever routine they started at. How 343 could possibly make the enemies boring for a Halo game is WTF.
I like the Knights but yea I’m very happy for the Storm Covenant.
The computer goes HARD on Legendary mode.
On Legendary Knights are annoying as hell. If you don’t have a plasma pistol or something that kills them fast they can just teleport away. It also gets annoying if the have an incineration cannon or a binary rifle, if that rifle nicks your foot you are done.
I’m doing a solo legendary run and doing some campaign achievements along the way, just did Mission 3 with that rifle achievement. You basically have to beat that long ass mission with only one weapon slot. Damn that was a hassle.
Everybody who’s done legendary, what’s the gold visor like? Is it worth it? I used the silver visor in Reach but I noticed that it doesn’t really look that good in this game.

Pentient Tanget went rampant in Halo 2 as well.
Also, I love the relationship between MC and Cortana. They’re so close because she’s probably one of the only people in his life who has been through ALL of it with the Chief, and in that sense they’re relateable. Also seems plausible too seeing as how Dr.Halsey stated that Spartans usually exhibit sociopathic behavior, so I don’t think becoming friends with a semi-sentient force of intelligence along your many adventures would be too far fetched.
Actually, Cortana could very well be more human than not due to the fact that her makeup is partially Halsey’s DNA.

I do think Promotheans as an enemy type need reworking because it’s boring as fuck. It’s not a challenge, it’s not fun, it’s just tedious.
Beat the game on Solo Legendary, just need to rally some friends together to get that Bros to Close cheevo and I’ll have just about every cheevo currently possible.
Guilty Spark was Rampant to, but they where Rampant when we met them. That was the difference that I liked. We got to see one descend into Rampancy while those two where already Rampant.
The coolest thing ever happened to me yesterday. I stuck someone with a plasma and they tried to suicide bomb me. But, just as he did another guy came up from behind and tried to assassinate me. The grenade exploded and killed all three of us. I got a double kill and a showstopper medal for stopping my own assassination.
